A packet processing apparatus includes: a flow table in which flow entries can be stored in areas allocated in order of priority groups; an entry management unit that determines, upon receiving a new flow entry from a prescribed control apparatus, a storage position in the flow table based on which priority group among the plural priority groups the new flow entry belongs to, and on a level 2 priority that is used for determining position within the priority group; and an entry retrieval unit that scans from the beginning of the flow table, retrieves an entry having match condition(s) that match(es) a received packet, and determines processing to be applied to the received packet.

Packet processing apparatus, flow entry configuration method and program

In an open flow system, it is made possible to confirm a flow having succeeded or failed in the registration on a flow table. Specifically, a controller transmits and receives an open flow message to and from a switch. The switch is provided with a flow table which manages flows registered from a controller, and a flow table reading section which reads corresponding data, a flow table control section which performs processing of addition, deletion and modification of a flow entry, and a platform function managing section which determine whether an object flow entry is valid or invalid according to an inquiry from the flow table control section. The flow table has a normal flow table and a save flow table. A valid flow entry which conforms to configuration data of the switch is registered on the normal flow table. An invalid flow entry which does not conform to the configuration data of the switch is registered on the save flow table.

Switch and flow table controlling method

A latching relay has a fixed iron core including an exciting coil wound around an intermediate portion and a magnetic pole piece at two ends; movable iron pieces sandwiching a permanent magnet between two bar-shaped iron pieces disposed in parallel with each other, and are fixed with a holder; and a switchable electrical contact portion. The fixed iron core and the movable iron pieces are disposed facing each other to insert each of the magnetic pole pieces on two sides of the fixed iron core to be spaced apart in a space between the two bar-shaped iron pieces of two end portions of the movable iron pieces. The movable iron pieces are supported pivotally in a direction in which the two bar-shaped iron pieces are aligned. The movable iron pieces are linked to the electrical contact portion, and the movable iron pieces perform a switching of the electrical contact portion.

Latching relay

A voltage controlled oscillator includes a resonant circuit, a trimming capacitor and a full adder. The resonant circuit includes a negative resistor, an inductor and an oscillation frequency setting capacitor having a variable capacitance according to a controlled voltage based on a oscillation frequency data. The trimming capacitor is connected in parallel to the oscillation frequency setting capacitor. The trimming capacitor has capacitors each of which has a variable capacitance according to an input signal thereof. The full adder is connected to the trimming capacitor. The full adder generates the input signal based on frequency information and an automatic proofreading value received thereto.

An oscillator circuit comprising a resonant circuit which includes a negative resistor, an inductor and an oscillation frequency setting capacitor whose capacitance is varied according to a control voltage based on oscillation frequency data and which outputs a signal having an oscillation frequency based on the oscillation frequency data, a temperature detector which outputs temperature compensation data, based on the temperature, and temperature compensating capacitors which are electrically connected to the resonant circuit and which are supplied with the temperature compensation data to change capacitance values thereof based on the temperature compensation data, thereby adjusting the oscillation frequency.

A frequency modulating device includes a frequency generator for generating a frequency-modulated, first carrier and an input terminal to which a non-modulated second carrier is input. An amplifier amplifies the second carrier. A frequency converter receives the first and second carriers for producing an intermediate frequency signal and feeds the intermediate frequency signal to an output terminal. A band-pass filter limits the frequency band of the intermediate frequency signal to output a band-limited signal. A calculator calculates the spectrum distribution of the band-limited signal. The frequency generator, input terminal, amplifier, frequency converter and output terminal are included in a semiconductor device constructed on a semiconductor wafer in the form of integrated circuit.

Frequency modulating device of an integrated circuit and a method of measuring modulated frequency

A local oscillator circuit has a control loop that locks the oscillation of a voltage-controlled oscillator at a programmable frequency. The control loop includes a voltage generator that generates a control voltage for the voltage-controlled oscillator, and a current generator that generates a current to raise and lower the control voltage. The magnitude of the current is switched according to the programmed frequency. The magnitude of the current can thereby be adjusted so that the local oscillator circuit achieves lock within a predetermined time, without the need for analog comparison of the control voltage.

To provide a gateway system capable of handling more gateways in one gatekeeper by dividing gatekeeper functions and mounting a part of the H.323 gatekeeper functions in a gateway apparatus. The gateway apparatus includes a proxy gatekeeper, and a gateway. A correction circuit for a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) is arranged outwardly of the voltage-controlled oscillator. The oscillation of the selected frequency and the frequency modulation are carried out independently of each other. The correction circuit includes a frequency selection controller generating a frequency selection signal of the DC potential, and a frequency modulation controller generating a modulation adjusting signal responsive to the input of a modulating signal. When a frequency modulation control signal, including the DC potential of the frequency selection signal and the modulation adjusting signal, is supplied to the voltage-controlled oscillator, the capacitance is lowered even if the frequency is increased, thus allowing the modulation degree to frequency to be decreased to a substantially constant level.

A voltage-controlled oscillation (VCO) circuit includes a current generator, a variable capacitor having a capacitance value which changes in accordance with a tuning voltage, an inductor which is electrically connected to the variable capacitor in parallel, and a fixed, capacitor which is electrically connected to the variable capacitor in parallel. The variable capacitor is electrically connected to the current generator in series.
