A combine harvester where opposing concaves on either side of a rotor of a processing system substantially simultaneously travel symmetrical paths. The concaves of the processing system may be supported on a suspension system such that the concaves are pivotally supported from a common axial location at one end and translationally adjusted at another end to move the concaves generally radially toward or away from the rotor.

A grate for an agricultural combine includes curved grate segments, each of which include mounting holes in at least one end segment. To provide a threshing grate, the end segments of the grate segments are offset to provide a 'step', or discontinuity in the radius of the assembled grate, which improves the threshing efficiency of the combine. The step can be provided by offsetting mounting holes between adjacent grate segments, and securing the grates to a frame member.

A grain delivery conveyor for a grain tank of an agricultural combine includes a first gear box including a first input connectable in rotatably driven relation to a rotatable power source for rotation about a first axis, and a first output rotatable about a second axis angularly related to the first axis by rotation of the first rotatable input; a second gear box including a second rotatable input connected in rotatably driven relation to the first output for rotation about the second axis, and a second output rotatably driveable about a third axis angularly related to the second axis by rotation of the second rotatable input; and an elongate conveyor assembly connected in rotatably driven relation to the second output, the second gear box and the conveyor being jointly pivotable about at least the second axis for varying a position of a free end of the conveyor relative to the grain tank.

The extension has an elongate blade shape and is positionable in radially outwardly extending relation along a leading edge of a rotor inlet flight, the blade having a leading edge located forwardly of the leading edge of the flight so as to rotate in advance thereof. The leading edge preferably has a curved, swept back shape relative to the rotational direction, which gradually increases in slope in the radial outward direction, so as to facilitate smooth acceleration of the crop material in the radial outward direction. The extension has a rearwardly facing blade or crop flow surface oriented at an angle of attack less than the angle of attack of the associated flight, so as to be less blunt and to facilitate smooth crop material flow onto the flight. The extension shape generates a rearwardly directed air flow when rotated.

A support structure for a divider of an agricultural corn head that includes a first tension member that is pivotally attached to a second tension member. A stop is provided which prevents the lines of tension of the first and second tension members from aligning. The tension assembly can therefore buckle upwards when an object underneath the support structure is struck. A lateral support for the divider is also provided with a clearance opening for the tension assembly. The divider can be rotated rearward into a transport or a service position and securely locked in place. A shipping position is provided in which the support structure can be rotated rearward by disconnecting the tension assembly.

A row crop header includes a frame, a first shield, a first hinge mechanism pivotably coupling the first shield to the frame, a second shield and a second hinge mechanism pivotably coupling the second shield to the first shield. The first hinge mechanism includes a first female coupling member coupled to a first one of the first shield and the frame and a first male coupling member coupled to a second one of the first shield and the frame. The first male coupling member is rotatably received within the first female coupling member for pivotably coupling the first shield to the frame. The first male coupling member is removable from the first female coupling member upon selective rotation of the first male and first female coupling members relative to one another. The second hinge mechanism includes a second female coupling member coupled to one of the first shields and the second shield and a second male coupling member coupled to the other of the first shield and the second shield. The second male coupling member is rotatably received within the second female coupling member for pivotally coupling the first shield to the second shield. The second male coupling member is removable from the second female coupling member upon selective rotation of the second male and female coupling members relative to one another.
