Described herein is a system for generating a master token to be associated with a set of tokens. In some embodiments, a number of tokens may be obtained by a communication device, which may be provided to a primary authorization computer. The primary authorization computer may generate a master token to be associated with each of those tokens. When the master token is used to complete a transaction, an authorization request may be received by the primary authorization computer that includes the master token. Upon receiving this, the primary authorization computer may obtain approval from a number of secondary authorization computers associated with the tokens, and may generate an authorization response based on those approvals.

Token aggregation for multi-party transactions

Embodiments of the invention are directed assessing reliability between two computing devices. A distributed database may maintain reliability associations between pairs of computing devices. Each reliability association may indicate a particular device has determined (e.g., locally) that another device is reliable. In order to determine an amount of reliability between a first computing device and a second computing device, an ordered combination of the reliability associations may be determined utilizing the distributed database. The ordered combination of reliability associations may identify a reliability path between the first computing device and the second computing device. An amount of reliability may be determined based on the reliability path. An interaction between the devices may be allowed or restricted based at least in part on the amount of reliability between the computing devices.

Conducting secure interactions utilizing reliability information

Provided are systems, methods, techniques, instruction sequences, and computer program products associated with and configured to the technical field of special purpose machines that facilitate generation and provision of application program interfaces (or APIs). The APIs automatically compare the geographic position of a user resource with a known database of events to determine the likelihood that the user is attending the event. In response to determining that the likelihood exceeds a predetermined limit, the APIs communicate notifications to update user information to service providers, such as financial networks, to improve the performance of the user's portable financial devices and reduce financial fraud associated with offline transactions.

Automatic account identifier detection and authorization

Embodiments of the invention are directed to techniques for enabling self-certification of an electronic device to result in the issuance of a security certificate that the electronic device may use to authenticate itself to another entity. In some embodiments, the device is caused to initiate the self-certification process upon determining that a status of a current security certificate is no longer valid. In some embodiments, an electronic device may communicate with a certificate authority, which may generate a set of policy data that indicates permissions for the electronic device. The electronic device may then generate an electronic record to be associated with the security certificate, which it may sign using a private key. The certificate authority may then verify the authenticity of the signed electronic record using a public key associated with the electronic device. The electronic record may be appended to some collection of records.

Self certification of devices for secure transactions

Techniques described herein include a platform and process enabling an electronic appliance to locally store payment credentials, loyalty point information, receive price comparison information for an item, redeem rewards or loyalty points to determine a best offer for the item, and enable delivery of said item to a user with minimal user interaction. In some embodiments, an electronic appliance can receive a query for offers for an item, receive order information from a plurality of merchants about the item, and apply loyalty points to determine an offer for the item. Upon receiving confirmation the electronic appliance may transmit access credentials for ordering the item for delivery and updating the loyalty point information for the account utilized to purchase the item from the determined offer.

Platform for offer determination and presentation via internet of things

Embodiments may enable a user to forward authorize a specific amount to a member of their payment pool by distributing a subtoken generated from a token issued to the user. The member of the payment pool may receive the subtoken through a delivery channel (e.g., by e-mail) and may utilize the subtoken during a purchase by providing a corresponding delivery channel identifier (e.g., e-mail address) as an authentication credential. In some embodiments, the subtoken may be time-sensitive and may be valid during a time period designated by the user.

Peer forward authorization of digital requests

A computing device and method may mask an identification of another computing device from malicious and unauthorized use of that identification for network communication. An identification for a network-based electronic device may be received, and a generic device ID may be created for the received ID. The received ID and the generic device ID may be stored in a memory as being related. The generic ID may be communicated by the masking device and method to an outside network.

A system for generating subtokens and/or sets of protocols to be provided to connected devices for use in subsequent transactions is disclosed. A mobile device identifies one or more connected devices via a discovery process. The mobile device may receive transaction information related to transactions to be conducted by the connected devices. The mobile device may, in some cases by communicating with a processing server, identify a parent token and/or a set of protocols related to the transaction information/connected device. The mobile device may subsequently generate a subtoken derived from the parent token based on the set of protocols. The subtoken and/or the set of protocols may be provided to a connected device, which may subsequently conduct a transaction using the subtoken and/or the set of protocols.

Subtoken management system for connected devices

Described herein is a platform and method for providing multi-level authentication by an onboard system in relation to a transaction. In response to receiving information related to a transaction, one or more authentication policies may be identified and provided to an onboard system associated with the transaction. The authentication policies may be executed by the onboard system to generate a result set indicating a pass/fail for each authentication policy. Once the result set has been generated, success actions and/or failure actions associated with each authentication policy may be executed in accordance with the generated result set.

Multi-level authentication for onboard systems

The described payment device includes an integrated power source including a piezoelectric accelerometer. Upon motion of the payment device, kinetic energy may be translated to a mass of the piezoelectric accelerometer to generate electrical energy to power other functions of the payment device. Motion translated to the piezoelectric accelerometer may also be used in combination with other inputs to implement security functions of the payment device.
