Embodiments of the invention include techniques for anonymous notification and intervention users requiring assistance, where the techniques include receiving an input from a user at a location, wherein the input is associated with an event requiring assistance from another user, and dynamically assigning a neighborhood based at least in part on the input, wherein the neighborhood represents a vicinity of the location. The techniques also include determining at least a threshold number of users is in the neighborhood, and based on the determination, sending a real-time alert to the users in the neighborhood, wherein the real-time alert includes information pertaining to the event requiring assistance.

Anonymous notification and intervention of users requiring assistance

A system and method for using a single-use password to add SSO functionality to a service of a Service Provider belonging to an F-SSO federation that does not support F-SSO functionality for the service. In response to receiving notification from an Identity Provider that a user has requested access to the service, the Service Provider uses information provided by the Identity Provider to identify and authenticate the user, and then uses standard API calls to create and send a temporary password to the user. This password may be created as a function of the user's physical location or IP address and may be communicated out-of-band. Upon determining that the user has correctly returned the temporary password to the Service Provider, the Service Provider generates and sends the user a strong single-use password through a secure in-band communication, through which the user may access the service.

Simulated SSO functionality by means of multiple authentication procedures and out-of-band communications

A system and method for using a Service-Provider password to simulate F-SSO functionality. A processor receives from an F-SSO Identity Provider authentication data for a user who has requested access to a secured service. The service is managed by an F-SSO Service Provider that does not offer F-SSO functionality for that service. Upon receiving the data, the processor redirects the user to an SU-F-SSO portal of the Service Provider, which uses the received authentication data to authenticate the user. The processor sends the user an on-demand password and, when the user uses that password to sign on, the processor matches the entered password with a stored copy of the password that was sent to the user. If they match, the processor grants the user access to the requested service. In some embodiments, the on-demand password may be a single-use password or may be sent to the user via an out-of-band communication.

Using a service-provider password to simulate F-SSO functionality

An arrangement of semiconductor devices to monitor semiconductor defects. There is a first semiconductor device arranged in proximity to a second semiconductor device, the second semiconductor device having a plurality of temperature sensing devices at locations in the second semiconductor device; a plurality of through silicon vias extending between the first semiconductor device and the second semiconductor device to electrically connect the first semiconductor device to the second semiconductor device; and a testing program to cause the plurality of temperature sensing devices in the second semiconductor device to sense the temperature at a plurality of corresponding locations in the first semiconductor device such that a predetermined rise in temperature at one location of the plurality of temperature sensing devices in the second semiconductor device is indicative of a defect in the corresponding location in the first semiconductor device. Methods of monitoring defects are also disclosed.

A metal seed composition useful in seeding a metal diffusion barrier or conductive metal layer on a semiconductor or dielectric substrate, the composition comprising: a nanoscopic metal component that includes a metal useful as a metal diffusion barrier or conductive metal; an adhesive component for attaching said nanoscopic metal component on said semiconductor or dielectric substrate; and a linker component that links said nanoscopic metal component with said adhesive component. Conductive metal and diffusion barrier seed compositions, and methods of use in semiconductor and interlevel dielectric substrates

A first PECVD process incorporating a silicon oxide precursor alone and then with an organo-silicon precursor with increasing flow while the flow of the silicon oxide precursor is reduced to zero provides a graded carbon adhesion layer whereby the content of C increases with layer thickness and a second PECVD process incorporating an organo-silicon precursor including an organic porogen provides a multiphase ultra-low k dielectric. The multiphase ultra-low k PECVD process uses high frequency radio frequency power just above plasma initiation in a PECVD chamber. An energy post treatment is also provided. A porous SiCOH dielectric material having a k less than 2.7 and a modulus of elasticity greater than 7 GPa is formed.

Provided are techniques for providing context-based user assistance. A request from a user for user assistance content for a first configurable element is received. One or more rules are retrieved for the first configurable element, wherein at least one of the rules describes a second configurable element that is related to the first configurable element.
