A protective film includes a base layer and a wear layer, the wear layer comprising a UV cured hardcoat resin, and the UV cured hardcoat resin comprising surface modified silica nanoparticles. The protective film may comprise a pressure sensitive adhesive for adhesion to a floor. The protective film may be used, for example, as a protective floor finish.

Protective films and related methods

A single pass simulated moving bed apparatus and methods are described for continuously separating a target molecule from a liquid mixture, using a simulated moving bed system. The simulated moving bed system includes a plurality of filter cartridge modules in serial fluid communication. Each filter cartridge module includes a volume of stationary phase particulates adjacent a porous substrate layer. The volume of stationary phase particulates has a bed height of less than 1 centimeter.

Single pass method and apparatus for separating a target molecule from a liquid mixture

A protective floor film adhesive composition includes an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive having an inherent viscosity in a range of 0.3 dl/g or greater, a cross-linker, and a plasticizer compatible with the acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The adhesive composition has a glass transition temperature of &#x2212;10 degrees Celsius or less, and the adhesive composition has an initial 180 degree peel adhesion test value of 5 oz/in or greater and builds to a final 180 degree peel adhesion test value of 40 oz/in or less, and a haze test value of 10% or less. Protective floor film articles and methods of protecting flooring are also described.

A simulated moving bed apparatus and methods are described for continuously separating a target molecule from a liquid mixture, using a simulated moving bed system. The simulated moving bed system includes a plurality of filter cartridge modules in serial fluid communication. Each filter cartridge module includes a volume of stationary phase particulates adjacent a porous substrate layer. Each filter cartridge module also includes recirculation piping in fluid connection with a filter cartridge outlet and a filter cartridge inlet.
