Door systems and door hardware components are described herein, along with methods of installing the door systems and components. The door systems include a bottom spacer that racks the door system in an opening in which the door system is being installed to facilitate proper spacing of the door after removal of the bottom spacer.

Methods of installing door systems in an opening. The methods involve racking the door system using a bottom spacer located between a bottom of a door panel and the sill such that the door system is not square with respect to the opening when the bottom ends of latch side and hinge side vertical jambs of the door system are resting on the sill of the opening.

A door has a frame forming an opening of the door, a window unit rotatably attached to the frame for positioning in the opening of the frame, a retainer moveably mounted on the frame, and an operator for operating the retainer. The retainer is moveable from a released position wherein the retainer is disengaged from the window unit, to a retaining position, wherein the retainer engages the window unit to hold the window unit in the opening.

Hidden window retainer system for doors

A door handle assembly having a latch bolt mechanism and a retaining mechanism positioned within a housing. A shaft having a lever handle is positioned within a through hole in the latch bolt mechanism. The lever handle can be rotated in a first direction from a first position to a second position, and in a second opposite direction from the first position to a third position to provide access to an area of a door panel otherwise obstructed by the lever handle.

A mounting system includes either a double wing bracket or a single wing bracket. A double wing bracket includes a U-shaped member adapted to embrace the opposite sides of a vertical pallet rack frame member. A plate is attached to the U-shaped member and includes holes for mounting hinge members. The hinge members are used to mount a door display frame for pivotal movement about a door display frame axis. A door frame and a door are mounted within the door display frame.
