A modular transfer switch () and actuator () wherein multiple transfer switches are connectable in linear arrangement with the actuator such that the actuator controls the position of all of the transfer switches. Each of the transfer switches () includes a contact assembly () that converts over-rotation of the drive linkage () in the transfer switch to added pressure between the load contacts and the power contacts in the contact assembly. The actuator has an embodiment wherein a joint () that connects counter-rotating arms () is linked to the armature of a linear motor () and spring tension from springs () is additive to the closing force applied to the transfer switches ().

A therapeutic gum irrigator is provided for subgingival periodontal irrigation with a chemotherapeutic fluid. The irrigator includes a housing surrounding at least a portion of the irrigator, a reservoir connected to the housing to retain the fluid, and a cannula configured for subgingival periodontic insertion in fluid communication with the reservoir. The irrigator further includes a neck connected to the housing and separating the reservoir from the cannula. A pump in fluid communication with the reservoir and the cannula includes a displacing element movable between first and second positions and a biasing element that biases the displacing element to the first position. A lever connected to the housing can mechanically move the displacing element to the second position, expelling a predefined volume of the fluid through the cannula. The biasing element causes the displacing element to return to the first position upon release of the thumb lever by the user.

Hair clipper

A holder for a powered device with a power supply, where the holder includes a cradle for seating the powered device, and a seating member for seating the power supply. The seating member and the cradle are preferably removably attached to each other at a pivot point. Preferably, the cradle and the seating member can be arranged together for holding the powered device in either a first or a second arrangement. In the first arrangement, the power supply is seated on the seating member and the cradle is attached to the seating member such that the power supply may be plugged into a wall outlet with the power supply and the powered device being fully supported against the wall by the holder. In the second arrangement, the power supply is not seated on said seating unit, but the seating unit is instead used as a base for the cradle.

A hand-held massager includes a housing having a gripping portion and a body-contacting portion, the housing being configured for emitting a massaging liquid and the body-contacting portion being configured for emitting heat to a target surface. The massager also emits a vibration and the amount of vibration is variable, as is the amount of heat and the amount of emitted massaging liquid. A pump is disposed within the housing for dispensing the massaging liquid, and a removable reservoir is in fluid communication with the pump. The reservoir is pivotably mounted to the massager between an operational position in which the reservoir is inclined relative to the body-contacting portion, and a refill position in which the body-contacting portion is placed in a generally vertical position and the reservoir is in a generally parallel position relative to the body-contacting portion.
