The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for scanning a document at a scan capable device. The method and systems comprise receiving user credentials from a graphical user interface, displaying scan capable devices on a network, creating a shared network folder accessible to a scan capable device, sending a user credential corresponding to the shared network folder to the scan capable device, creating a selectable data entry on the scan capable device corresponding to the network folder, and upon selection of the selectable data entry, digitizing a document and sending the digitized document to the shared network folder corresponding to the selectable data entry.

Method for implementation of push scan functionality

A system for performing multifunction device session management includes a multifunction device and a computer-readable storage medium that includes one or more programming instructions. The one or more programming instructions cause the multifunction device to detect by one or more sensors of the multifunction device an indication that a session is to be initiated, in response to detecting the indication that the session is to be initiated, initiate the session, retrieve a device policy associated with the multifunction device from a data store associated with the multifunction device, identify a condition from the device policy, monitor for the occurrence of one or more triggers during the session, wherein each trigger is associated with the identified condition in the device policy, and in response to detecting that one or more of the triggers have occurred at the multifunction device, perform one or more actions pertaining to completion of the session.

Intelligent session management system for a multifunction device

An app maintains different multi-modal output signatures. Each multi-modal output signature contains instructions for transducer output with speaker output and/or display output. Also, each multi-modal output signature is unique and different from all other multi-modal output signatures. Further, each different multi-modal output signature corresponds to only one of many possible alerts that may be generated by a printer. A method of providing native scalable management of a fleet of managed devices, which includes establishing a Trust Community, which includes a sub-set of the managed devices, organizing the Trust Community, configuring one of the managed devices in the organized Trust Community as a Root Device to publish files via a file sharing function, adding the Root Device to a distribution profile stored in a database, creating or downloading files via the Root Device, and sharing the files with other devices in the organized Trust Community via the Root Device. Any devices on hold or offline are placed in a temporary working area for reorganizing. Download and install schedules are set up on a per device or a bulk basis according to policies. Files are placed into a staging area before re-distribution and checked for security, integrity, and/or completeness via checksums, digitally signed certificates, and/or internal structure checks.
