A high-speed high-voltage pulser especially designed to operate in high radiation environments. The pulser uses a primary side driver and switches in front of an isolation gate transformer. The primary side driver and switches provide amplified and fast complementary pulse signals to the transformer. The transformer has top and bottom secondary windings, which respectively receive the complementary signals, and deliver them to secondary side drivers and switches. The switches are implemented with series-connected FETs.

A system and method of telephony resource management and security for monitoring and/or controlling incoming and outgoing calls between an enterprise's end-user stations and a public circuit-switched network and/or a public packet-switched network. A security policy is made up of one or more rules designating at least one action to be performed based on at least one attribute of the incoming or outgoing call. Calls are detected and sensed on the line, trunk and/or cabling, and analyzed to determine attributes associated with each call. Actions are performed based upon the determined attributes, in accordance with the security policy rules.

The present disclosure relates to a device, system and method of automated interpretation of medical prescription text. Prescription text may be entered into a user interface that may be analogous to a paper prescription entry such as manually written text. A system and method for discriminating call content types for individual telephone lines at a plurality of user sites outside of a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) is described. The system includes: a database containing security rules for each of a plurality of extensions, the rules specifying actions to be taken based upon a call content type of the call on the extension, wherein the call content type is determined at the user sites outside the PSTN; and a line sensor within the user sites outside the PSTN for determining the call content type of the call. The line sensor continuously checks the call content type to determine if the call content type changes.

A telephony security system and method for controlling and logging access between an enterprise'send-user stations at a plurality of customer sites and their respective circuits into the public switched telephone network (PSTN). The system and method includes a discrete line sensor within the customer sites for determining a call type of the call, and taking actions on the call based on predetermined security rules.

System and method for bringing an in-line device on-line and assuming control of calls

A method utilizing high-speed digital computers and high resolution display systems for stacking a plurality of two-dimensional complex displays acquired from individual NDE scans over the surface of a material being inspected. The solid three-dimensional image constructed incorporates the two dimensions typically provided by eddy current-type testing components, i.e., the imaginary or vertical component and the real or horizontal component, and a third dimension that represents the physical orthogonal distance between sequential scans. The solid three-dimensional image is generated by connecting corresponding positional points on adjacent two-dimensional plane displays. The closed solid figure generated results when a null or equilibrium point away from the specific signal features is encountered. Appropriate coloration or shading on the three-dimensional image highlights the features for visual inspection. The method thus provides a representation of all of the data generated by eddy current-type or other NDE probes in a form that allows visualization of the relevant characteristics of the anomaly that permit its identification and relative importance.

Method for generating and displaying complex data derived from

A pyrotechnic device (UUT) is automatically tested for thermal response cacteristics using an automatically balanced Wheatstone bridge. One branch of the bridge is a series of relay connected resistances which are selectively connected to coursely balance the bridge using a voltage developed across the UUT. An FET in series with the series of resistances, in response to the bridge null currents, finely balances the bridge. A low constant current pulse is used to generate a voltage across the UUT and to balance the bridge. A second high constant current pulse is used to measure the transient thermal response of the UUT. The transient test current pulses are generated automatically or manually and whose amplitude and repetition rate are manually set. The pulses are generated by a D/A converter whose output is fed to a constant current generator coupled to a manually settable resistance range for setting the value of the high current transient test pulse amplitude. The lower value initial balance current pulse is separately settable by internal calibration switches and straps. The entire test is less than 40 ms.

Thermal transient test system

The system for automated design and construction of artificial limb sockets for amputees consists of an array of ultrasound transducers especially constructed to insonify the residual limb of an amputee. The time-of-flight information recovered from this procedure is then stored in a computer, where it can be processed to provide dimensional information with regard to the relative location of the limb, skin, and bone surfaces in space. This three dimensional information is then used to produce an image of the limb with a computer aided design system for customized prosthetic design and manufacture.
