A lid for use with a container including stacked articles configured to facilitate the removal of an uppermost article from the stacked articles. The lid includes a grabbing apparatus configured to adhere to the uppermost article of the stacked articles and a grabbing apparatus platform configured to support the grabbing apparatus that is extendible allowing extension of the grabbing apparatus from the lid.

A plastic container having a container body and a permanently attached container lid is provided. The container lid is attached to the container body by a living hinge such that the entire plastic container is a one-piece construction. The container lid is pre-curved such that in an open state the container lid is curved. However, when the container lid mates with the container body in a closed state, at least a portion of the container lid that was previously curved becomes substantially planar such that portions of the lid remain biased into the container body. The container can also incorporate a carrying feature for receiving and positioning articles therein, as well as a sealing chamfer for reducing the likelihood of the ingress of foreign matter into an interior cavity of the container.

The container lid is pre-curved such that in an open state the container lid is curved. However, when the container lid mates with the container body in a closed state, at least a portion of the container lid that was previously curved becomes substantially planar such that portions of the lid remain biased into the container body. The container incorporates at least one projection that acts as a detent-catch mechanism to secure the lid to the body. The projection reduces the likelihood that the seal formed between the lid and the container when in a closed position will be inadvertently broken.

A container for storing makeup is disclosed. The container may include a cover and a base coupled to the cover and configured for holding cosmetic material. The container may be selectively reconfigurable between a open, use position and a closed, storage position and the cover may engage the base to provide a hermetic seal when the container is in the storage position. The cosmetic material may be viewed in the substantially airtight container through at least one viewing area.

A container for storing makeup is disclosed. The container includes a cover having a first interface, the first interface having a first periphery. The container also includes a base for holding a cosmetic substance, the base having a second interface, the second interface having a second periphery corresponding to the first periphery. The container also includes a generally hermetic seal providing a channel associated with the first interface and a peripheral rim associated with the second interface. The container includes a discharge for reducing the air pressure integral with the first or the second interface. The first interface and the second interface provide a substantially hermetic seal when the cover is closed with respect to the base.
