A lateral isolator () has a tubular body with an upstream end and a downstream end. The lateral isolator () also includes an inner member () having a pivot ring () disposed within the tubular body. A first elastomeric package () is disposed between the tubular body and the inner member () longitudinally between the pivot ring () and the upstream end. A second elastomeric package () is disposed between the tubular body and the inner member () longitudinally between the pivot ring () and the downstream end.

Flexible pipe joint

Elevated temperature riser bearing

Rotary dampers and systems for use and installation within a rotary winged aircraft, and related methods, are provided herein. In some aspects, a rotary damper includes a housing having a rotor assembly positioned inside the housing. The rotary damper may further include at least one resilient member disposed adjacent to an outer portion of the housing. The at least one resilient member is externally visible from outside of the rotary damper. In some aspects, the resilient member includes a torsional spring of the rotary damper. In certain aspects, the resilient member is disk shaped and slidable within a portion of the rotary damper. In some aspects, at least one primary liquid orifice is provided in a portion of the at least one rotor member. In some aspects, at least one pressure equalization port is disposed within a portion of the rotor assembly.

Rotary dampers, systems, and related methods

The present invention relates to an equipment engine mounting system and method for mounting an equipment engine to an equipment frame using dampers, elastomeric and nonelastomeric components to inhibit the a transmission of vibrations of the equipment engine to the equipment frame.

Engine mounting system

An equipment engine mounting system/method for mounting an equipment engine to an equipment frame. The equipment engine mounting system includes a first engine mount disposed between the equipment engine and the equipment frame, including a first engine mount nonextensible inner member having an outer bonding surface. The first engine mount including a first engine mount nonextensible outer member, the first engine mount nonextensible outer member having an inner bonding surface. The first engine mount includes an intermediate elastomer between the first engine mount nonextensible inner member and the first engine mount nonextensible outer member, the first engine mount intermediate elastomer bonded to the first engine mount nonextensible inner member outer bonding surface and the first engine mount nonextensible outer member inner bonding surface. The first engine mount includes a liquid housing cavity, containing a first variable volume liquid chamber proximate the first engine mount nonextensible inner member and a second variable volume liquid chamber, distal from the first engine mount nonextensible inner member. The equipment engine mounting system includes a second engine mount disposed between the equipment engine and the equipment frame, the second engine mount including a second engine mount nonextensible frameside member and a second engine mount nonextensible engineside member, and a highly damped elastomer between the second engine mount nonextensible frameside member and the second engine mount nonextensible engineside member, with the engine mounting system mounts inhibiting a transmission of a vibration of the equipment engine to the equipment frame.

Method of making an equipment engine mounting system

The invention provides a furniture chair seatback tilt limiter system for adjustably limiting the seatback recline of a chair. The seatback tilt limiter system includes a first gear toothed rotator with a full forward seatback upright endstop and a full recline seatback endstop. The seatback tilt limiter system includes a second gear toothed rotator having an adjustment endstop. The first rotator is free to rotate between the full forward seatback upright endstop and the full recline seatback endstop when the rotator gear teeth are disengaged and the second rotator adjustment endstop limits the rotation of the first rotator to an adjustable reclined seatback tilt limit when the gear teeth are engaged.

Furniture seatback tilt recline angle limiter and method

Vibration absorbers are provided which utilize a torsional spring and a dynamic mass to control vibrations that occur within the structure to which they are attached. Additionally, pipeline systems are provided which utilize such vibration absorbers including a mass and a torsional spring to control the vibrations that occur within the pipeline system. In various embodiments of the present invention, the torsional spring is one or more elastomer elements coupled between the dynamic mass and a support frame to produce a spring force responsive to pivotal rotation of the dynamic mass relative to the support frame. In various embodiments, one or more elastomer elements arranged in series or in parallel may be used as the torsional spring to provide a desired vibratory dampening characteristic for applications, such as pipelines. Use of such torsional springs may provide a more simplified design with less mechanical joints which may be less susceptible to failure in harsh environments.
