A ride system includes a ride vehicle and an external sensor assembly disposed along a ride path and configured to measure external parameters. The ride vehicle includes an internal sensor assembly configured to measure internal parameters, a chassis, a cabin, and a motion base disposed between the chassis and the cabin, such that the motion base includes a turntable and a plurality of actuators. The ride vehicle also includes a controller that instructs (i) the turntable to rotate and (ii) the plurality of actuators to rotate, extend, or retract, to control six or more degree-of-freedom (DOF) motion of the cabin relative to the chassis, such that the controller is configured to instruct the turntable and the plurality of actuators based on the external parameters, the internal parameters, or both.

Systems and methods for a multi-degree of freedom ride vehicle

A ride vehicle includes a platform including a front portion and a rear portion. The ride vehicle also includes a row of seats disposed on the platform. Each seat of the first row of seats is configured so a passenger loads from the rear and once seated the passenger faces the front portion. The ride vehicle is configured so that each passenger enters the ride vehicle via the rear portion.

A ride system for an amusement park includes a platform of the ride system that rotates about a guide axis along a direction of travel of the platform. A motion system is included and drives movement of the platform. One or more seats are coupled to the platform, wherein the one or more seats move with the platform and relative to the platform. At least one sensor detects a position of at least one seat of the one or more seats and provides data indicative of the position. A controller receives the data indicative of the position and controls the motion system to rotate the platform about the guide axis based on the data indicative of the position.

A ride attraction system includes a tower track and a ride vehicle configured to accommodate one or more riders. The ride vehicle is coupled to and configured to move relative to the tower track and the ride vehicle includes one or more user input devices. The ride attraction system further includes an image system configured to display a ride environment, wherein the user input devices are configured to enable the one or more riders to interact with elements of the ride environment via the one or more user input devices. The ride attraction system further includes a controller communicatively coupled to the ride vehicle and the image system and configured to control movement of the ride vehicle relative to the tower track based on signals from the one or more user input devices.

Present systems and methods are directed to an audio system integrated into a restraint system for an amusement park ride vehicle. Specifically, a system includes a restraining system for a ride vehicle of an amusement park. The system includes an audio system comprising a speaker and a microphone, wherein the audio system is positioned inside of the restraining system and configured to produce audio via the speaker in response to a received audio activation signal.

Provided herein is a conveyor ride system that includes a conveyor structure having a plurality of conveyor beams and a plurality of conveyor grooves.
