Techniques are disclosed for data manipulation within a reconfigurable computing environment for data flow graph computation using exceptions. Processing elements are configured within a reconfigurable fabric to implement a data flow graph. The processing elements are loaded with process agents. Valid data is executed by a first process agent on a first processing element, where the first process agent corresponds to a starting node of the data flow graph. A second processing element detects that an error exception has occurred, where a second process agent is running on the second processing element. A done signal to a third process agent is withheld by the second process agent, where the third process agent is running on a third processing element. The second process agent raises an interrupt request, where the interrupt request is based on the detecting that an error exception has occurred.

Data flow graph computation using exceptions

Embodiments of systems and methods disclosed herein include an embedded secret provisioning system that is based on a shared-derivative mechanism. Embodiments of this mechanism use a trusted third-party topology, but only a single instance of a public-private key exchange is required for initialization. Embodiments of the system and methods are secure and any of the derived secret keys are completely renewable in untrusted environments without any reliance on asymmetric cryptography. The derived secrets exhibit zero knowledge attributes and the associated zero knowledge proofs are open and available for review. Embodiments of systems and methods can be implemented in a wide range of previously-deployed devices as well as integrated into a variety of new designs using minimal roots-of-trust.

Method and system for an efficient shared-derived secret provisioning mechanism

A switching device and method for selecting among a plurality of hosts on a bus, such as a Universal Serial Bus (USB). The switching device includes a first hub to be coupled to first host controller and a second hub to be coupled to second host controller. A first selection device is to be coupled to a first peripheral device and the first and second hub devices. The first selection device is to selectively couple the first peripheral device to one of the first and second host devices in response to a selection signal. A second selection device is to be coupled to a second peripheral device and the first and second hub devices. The second selection device is to selectively couple the second peripheral device to one of the first and second host controllers in response to the selection signal. The selection signal is generated in response to one of the host controllers. During the switching process among the host controllers and peripheral devices, a cable disconnect and reconnect between the host controllers and peripheral devices is emulated.

Method and apparatus for switching among a plurality of universal serial bus host devices

A bus bridge coupled between two bridges providing bus exception event isolation and address/data translation. In one embodiment the bus bridge includes two direct memory access (DMA) engines and a first-in-first-out (FIFO) buffer interface between the DMA engines to provide the bus exception isolation. The DMA engines and FIFOs also enable a packet based message passing architecture, which eliminates the need for address translation and also handles data reordering.

A method and an apparatus perform an inverse telecine procedure on a video sequence to eliminate redundant information introduced by the telecine process, so as to achieve more efficient data compression. The method and apparatus maintain synchronization between audio and video portions of the video sequence by ensuring that 20% of all frames, distributed substantially uniformly over the video sequence, are deleted. One embodiment of the present invention is provided in desktop computer system.
