A fruit and vegetable juicing device having a feed tube, a juice collector and a grating disc carrying a frusto-conical sieve, the grating disc having a first array of grating teeth, a secondary processing surface with a second array of grating teeth; each tooth having one leading edge and one trailing edge, wherein the juice collector has either an internal helical ramp with an elevated discharge nozzle or a circumferential trough having a lowest point that leads to a discharge nozzle.

Fruit and vegetable juicer

A user interface for a microwave oven. The user interface including: a power input element for receiving user input to adjust a cooking power setting; a time input element for receiving user input to adjust a cooking time setting; a display element for displaying the cooking power setting and the cooking time setting; and a processor module that receives a first signal from the power input element that is indicative of an adjustment to a cooking power setting and a second signal from the time input element that is indicative of an adjustment to a cooking time setting; the processor being coupled to the display element to cause the display to present the user selected cooking power setting and the user selected cooking time setting; wherein: upon commencing a cooking cycle, user input applied to the power input module caused the user selected cooking power setting to be adjusted. The user interface can further include: a plurality of shortcut selection elements, each shortcut selection element is associated with a predetermined cooking profile having predetermined cooking settings. The user interface can further include: an 'a bit more' selection element that causes calculation of a supplemental cooking setting.

Microwave oven

A food processor is provided with a wide feed tube. The food processor has a pusher that cooperates with a safety mechanism. The safety mechanism comprises a linkage assembly that prevents the food processor's motor from operating unless the pusher is inserted into the feed tube.

A food processor apparatus. The apparatus may include: a base having a motor; a processing bowl that is releasably couplable to the base; a lid for the processing bowl having a feed tube. A pusher device, having a body and a safety rail that extends from the body, cooperates with the feed tube. A longitudinal slot, is located about the feed tube, and has a pilot opening that is located about the top of the longitudinal slot for receiving the safety rail. A linkage assembly is located about the longitudinal slot. The safety rail engages the linkage assembly when the safety rail is at least partially inserted into the longitudinal slot. A majority of the longitudinal slot, as located below the pilot opening, has a full width of the longitudinal slot directly exposed to an interior of the feed tube.

A toaster has a user selectable supplementary toasting cycle that is intended to change the shade of a food after or during a toasting cycle.

A lidof a juicer provides several important functions. It prevents juice from escaping, it diverts pulp efficiently toward a collectoror chute, it cooperates with a locking bar to keep the device safe and closed and it provides a platform for the feed tube. The lidcomprises a polymeric cap(for example a polycarbonate) to which is secured a metal, preferably stainless steel feed tube. Importantly the combination of clear capand steel feed tube provides all of the advantages of both, that is, adequate strength in the feed tube and knife and the ability to see under the cap.

Juicer

A motorised citrus press has a reamer and an actuating arm. The arm supports a fruit dome. The movement of the arm causes the activation of a first switch and the reamer is associated with a second switch. The motor receives electrical power only when both the first and second switches cooperate.

A combination oven and cutting board. A bench-top oven having a metal upper surface; the oven further including: a cutting board; and wherein the upper surface having features that cooperate with the cutting board; and the cutting board having heat resistant feet that interlock with the features.

A motorized citrus press has a reamer and a pivoting arm that carries a fruit dome. The reamer has primary ribs that protrude from a rib supporting surface. Each primary rib has an upper profile and a lower profile that comprise a compound profile.

A combination oven and cutting board has a front opening door and a metal upper surface with features that cooperate with the cutting board. The oven may have an internal heating cavity and a front opening door that incorporates a magnet that is used to pull a rack out of the oven.
