The present invention relates to variants of a parent lipase which has lipase activity and comprise one or more substitutions corresponding to G23S, D27N, A40I, F51I,L, E56R, D57N, V60E,K, K98I, N101D, R118F, G163S, T231R, N233R, Y220F, T244E, and P256T using SEQ ID NO: 2 for numbering. The present invention also relates to compositions or microcapsule compositions comprising a lipase variant of the invention and to liquid products comprising a microcapsule composition of the invention as well as the use of the microcapsule composition for stabilizing lipase variants of the invention.

The present invention relates to an enzyme exhibiting endo-beta-1,4-glucanase activity (EC 3.2.1.4), which is a) a polypeptide encoded by the DNA sequence of positions 1 to 2322 of SEQ ID NO: 1; b) a polypeptide produced by culturing a cell comprising the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 under conditions wherein the DNA sequence is expressed; c) an endo-beta-1,4-glucanase enzyme having a sequence of at least 97% identity to the amino acid sequence of position 1 to position 773 of SEQ ID NO: 2; and fragments thereof exhibiting endo-beta-1,4-glucanase activity, and d) a polypeptide having endo-beta-1,4-glucanase activity that is encoded by a polynucleotide that hybridizes with the nucleotide sequence shown in positions 1&#x2013;2322 of SEQ ID NO: 1, is useful for detergent and textile applications.

Endo-beta-1,4-glucanases

A storage stable liquid enzyme concentrate of Subtilisin Carlsberg containing 0.5-6.5 Anson Units of proteinase per gram of concentrate and method for preparing same. Solid form proteinase is extracted with 70-100 parts by volume propylene glycol, 30-0 parts by volume of water, then adjusted as necessary to 60-85% by wt. of the glycol. Stabilizing agents in the concentrate are 0.1-1 mol/Kg of a member selected from the group consisting of Na, K, and Ca glutamates, and glycinates, and acetamide, and also a calcium ion content of 0.04-0.5% by wt., pH range is 5-8.

Liquid proteinase concentrate and method for preparation

A liquid enzyme concentrate containing the alpha-amylase from Bacillus licheniformis and optionally a proteinase dissolved in 40-95% by weight propylene glycol 1,2 balance water, at pH 5-9, the enzyme activity being 10-1000 KNU/g of concentrate. Proteinase may be present in activity of 0.5-6.5 Anson units/g of concentrate. Subtilisin Carlsberg is a preferred proteinase, and in such instance, appropriate stabilizers for the proteinase are included in the concentrate.

A storage stable liquid enzyme concentrate of Subtilisin Carlsberg containing 0.5-6.5 Anson Units of proteinase per gram of concentrate and method for preparing same. A novel protease product suitable for admixture to washing compositions and exhibiting substantially attenuated allergenic properties is prepared by cultivating strains of Bacillus licheniformis which have been mutated to block their synthesis of protease other than Subtilopeptidase A (subtilisin). The commercial Bacillus licheniformis derived protease products are mixtures of subtilisin and a non-serine protease of lower stability and greater allergenicity than subtilisin.

Iron activation of cell mass of glucose isomerase preparations carried out by direct incorporation of 0.05-2.0% w/w dry basis of iron as a solid water soluble non-toxic iron salt. Preferred compositions are dry state particulate glucose isomerases containing 0.05-2.0% iron, 0.5-3.0% magnesium oxide, and 2-15% dextrose monohydrate all w/w.
