A lifting framework for an industrial truck has an extendible mast guided on a guide mast by rollers. Means are provided for bracing the extendible mast with the guide mast so as to prevent the extendible mast from inclining in the lateral direction of the lifting framework relative to the guide mast. The bracing means are configured such that, when the extendible mast is located in the top end position, a vertical movement of the extendible mast relative to the guide mast is prevented in the region of each of the two columns. A hydraulic lifting cylinder and a stop for the top end position of the extendible mast are arranged here in the region of each column.

Lifting framework for an industrial truck

A battery replacement system for an industrial truck has an electrical propulsion drive and at least one battery compartment for holding a battery block. The battery block can be moved essentially in a horizontal direction into the battery compartment or out of the battery compartment. An external holding apparatus independent of the industrial truck is provided for the battery block. The industrial truck can be maneuvered over the holding apparatus such that the holding apparatus is positioned beneath the battery compartment. The battery block located within the battery compartment can be lifted slightly by the holding apparatus. The force required to lift the battery block can be produced by the electrical propulsion drive.

Battery replacement system for an industrial truck

An industrial lift truck having a body which includes a battery container cover, spaced straddle legs projecting from the body and a lift mast which moves along the straddle legs. The lift mast is moved along the straddle legs by a mechanism operated by a battery which is held in a container. The container is supported on a platform resting on the straddle legs and is moved along the straddle legs between a rear stored position and a forward open position by a hydraulic cylinder and piston. A guide arrangement for the battery container is located below the cover and is disposed internally of the end walls of the battery container to contact the inner surfaces of the end walls to direct the battery container during movement into the rear stored position and to prevent movement of the battery container transversely of the straddle legs when it is in the rear stored position.
