Embodiments provide an inkjet cartridge refilling system. The system may include a drill station configured to drill at least one refilling hole in an inkjet printer cartridge. The system may include an evacuation station configured to remove excess ink from the inkjet printer cartridge. In some embodiments, the excess ink is removed via a vacuum source. The system may also include a filling station configured to provide any of a plurality of inks into the cartridge. Some embodiments provide the ink to the inkjet cartridge via a hole drilled in the cartridge. Other embodiments provide the ink via inkjet nozzles of the inkjet printer cartridge. The system may also include a test station configured to test the refilled cartridge to determine whether it is functioning properly after being filled with ink.

A vision alignment system for an integrated circuit device testing handler includes a head guiding ring configured to be attached to a pick-and-place device, the head guiding ring having an opening in which a device-under-test having a device contact array is locatable; a socket apparatus including: a fixed mounting frame, a moveable socket guiding ring, and a plurality of actuators configured to move the moveable socket guiding ring relative to the fixed mounting frame; and a visualization device configured to provide data relating to a position of the device contact array relative to the contactor pin array. The socket apparatus is configured to adjust a position of the head guiding ring by moving the moveable socket guiding ring while the head guiding ring is located in an opening of the moveable socket guiding ring to align the device contact array to the contactor pin array.

An inkjet printer cartridge refilling system is described. The system may include a plurality of fixtures or adapters that are configured to hold inkjet printer cartridges. The adapters allow a variety of different configurations of inkjet printer cartridges to be refilled and cleaned by mating the cartridges to universal stations on the refilling system.

A lighting arrangement for use in vision systems and imaging applications. The arrangement illuminates the object to be imaged with a supplied light of a specified illumination. The intensity, hue, and directionality of the supplied light can be varied. The desired illumination is specified either by manually operable controls or via a programming interface. The arrangement has a light source which includes light-emitting diodes mounted in a housing. The source provides a constant light output over a long lifetime. A light sensor senses the total illumination on the object being imaged resulting from ambient light in addition to the supplied light, and a negative feedback circuit in the arrangement can adjust the level of the supplied light in response so as to maintain a constant total illumination on the object despite variations in the ambient lighting.

A chainable I/O termination block system for connecting a programmable logic controller (PLC) or other controller to I/O signals such as sensors and control relays in an automatic tooling environment. A number of modular termination blocks ( ) can be conveniently chained together to provide the required number of I/O points ( ) at the appropriate location on the automated tool while simultaneously providing a single connection to the PLC ( ). Chainable termination blocks ( ) can be connected together directly or can be distributed over the required distance using block-to-block cabling ( ). An autoshifting arrangement within each chainable termination block ( ) determines the bit position at the controller ( ) of each I/O signal ( ). A termination unit includes two termination pucks. A first termination puck (20) includes a plurality of first connectors (21). The first connectors (21) are of a first type. A main connector (22) of the first termination puck (20) is electrically connected to each first connector within the plurality of first connectors (21). A second termination puck (40) includes a first main connector (42) for connection to the main connector (22) of the first termination puck (20). The second termination puck (40) also includes a plurality of second connectors (44-49) that may be formed as wire receptacles. The second connectors (44-49) are of different connector type than the first connectors (21) on the first termination puck (20). Each of a plurality of switches (51-54) on the second termination puck (40) select either a control/status pin from the first main connector (42) or a control/status pin from one of the second connectors (44-49) to be electrically connected to a control/status pin of a second main connector (43). With the two pucks electrically interconnected, tools may be joined by cables to first connectors (21) on the first termination puck (20) or by individual wires to the wire receptacles (44-49) on the second termination puck (40) and switches (51-54) on the second puck may be used to selectively electrically join first connectors (21) or wire receptacles (44-49) to second main connector (43).

An annunciator is connectable between a phone line terminal and a telephone. The annunciator includes a connector for connecting to a ring conductor in the terminal. A sense circuit is coupled to the connector and converts the ring signal to a control signal. The annunciator further includes a speaker and a memory for storing data indicative of a distinctive annunciation pattern. A processor is responsive to an input control signal from the sensor circuit to utilize the data from the memory to drive the speaker to output the distinctive annunciation pattern. The processor further includes an input for enabling a user to input the distinctive annunciation pattern so that the pattern can be stored for later access by the processor.
