A toilet assembly is provided and includes an inlet conduit, a waste conduit, a flush-assist subsystem, and a plug. The waste conduit is configured to fluidly communicate with the inlet conduit. The flush-assist subsystem includes a flush-assist inlet and a flush-assist outlet. The flush-assist inlet is configured to fluidly communicate with the inlet conduit. The flush-assist outlet is configured to fluidly communicate with the waste conduit. The plug is disposed within the flush-assist subsystem and configured to prevent fluid communication between the inlet conduit and the waste conduit through the flush-assist subsystem.

A stainless steel toilet resistant to corrosion by sea water. The toilet has a toilet bowl portion which is butt-welded to a rim. The welding is carried out while the inside surface of the weld line is flushed with argon gas. Similarly, a P-trap is butt-welded to an exit opening at the bottom of the bowl portion. A flush ring assembly is supported below the rim member. The result is a toilet which can be operated with sea water without corrosion for a period of years.

An improved blow out toilet having remarkably low water volume usage. The toilet is of the type having a toilet bowl including a rinse ring having a rinse water nozzle directing water therein and a trap including a flush water nozzle. The improvement includes the reshaping of the toilet bowl and the reduction in size and reshaping of both the rinse water orifice and the flush water orifice.
