Processing within a computing environment is facilitated by determining a set of microservices needed to execute a microservice test suite in a test environment, where the test environment is an active microservice test environment with a plurality of microservices. The process also includes determining that the test environment lacks sufficient resources to run the microservice test suite with the set of microservices, and dynamically removing at least one microservice of the plurality of microservices from the test suite not needed to execute the microservice test suite to free test environment resources for executing the microservice test suite with the set of microservices. The process also includes initiating executing, based on the dynamically removing, the microservice test suite in the test environment.

Dynamic reconfiguration of microservice test environment

An approach for an automated task management system to accomplish set goals by completing a predefined set of tasks for that goal is disclosed. The approach includes creating a goal object by one or more users and creating one or more task objects associated with the goal object by the one or more users. The approach includes executing a first task of the one or more task objects and determining if there is one or more deviations associated with executing the first task. Users can directly define deviations which are stored into the tasks directly as a deviation path without needing admin approval. Based on determining there is the one or more deviations, the approach can optionally ask for an approval from an administrator. Deviation tasks objects are stored into the goal object for future users to view and use.

Dynamically generated task system with feedback capability

Provided is a validation framework for modelling possible failures that might occur when an orchestrated transaction calls external services to ensure that error handling and reporting is robust and well designed. The disclosed techniques ensure that no changes are necessary to either the code making a call or the services that might be called. The techniques are not limited to web servers and REST APIs as they may be used to test and validate any kind of system that employs well defined APIs. The claimed subject matter, or 'validation framework' may be added to an existing API or created as a new module that acts as a proxy server in a non-micro service type of system. Although described with respect to a gateway-API service, the claimed subject matter is equally applicable to other systems that process orchestrated transactions.

Systems and methods are disclosed for securing VoIP communication. A VoIP device sends a multiple pipe scrambling request, wherein the multiple pipe scrambling request includes (1) a numeric value indicating the number pipes, (2) an IP address for each pipe, and (3) a port number for each pipe. The VoIP device receives confirmation that the scrambling request was received and sends data packets randomly to one or more available pipes on a receiving VoIP device.

A method, system, and computer program product are provided for selectively discarding packets in a network device. The method includes receiving an upstream bandwidth saturation indicator for a queue in the network device, and identifying one or more codecs employed in packets in the queue when the upstream bandwidth saturation indicator indicates saturation. The method further includes determining a packet discarding policy based on the one or more codecs, and discarding packets in accordance with the packet discarding policy.
