Systems and methods for managing resource availability are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for managing resource availability may include: (1) receiving, by a deployment computer program, an identification of a rack to build; (2) retrieving, by the deployment computer program, a plurality of application placement profiles for a plurality of applications; (3) selecting, by the deployment computer program, a subset of the applications to deploy to the rack, wherein the deployment computer program optimizes the selection based on metrics in the application placement profiles and a capacity of the rack; and (4) deploying, by the deployment computer program, the subset of applications to the rack.

Systems and methods for managing resource availability

A system and a method for reconstructing an electronic data processing facility is provided. The method includes: accessing information that indicates a predetermined arrangement of hardware components included in the electronic data processing facility; verifying that the hardware components are operational based on the predetermined arrangement; accessing information that indicates a predetermined order of software modules to be installed in the electronic data processing facility; installing the software modules based on the predetermined order; accessing information that indicates a predetermined data set to be stored in a memory of the electronic data processing facility; and verifying that the installed software modules and the stored data set are operational based on a predetermined standard.

The method also includes processing, using the fabric monitoring system, the information in real-time to identify the occurrences of the events and to assign the events to multiple situations. The events are assigned to the situations using one or more processing models accessible by the fabric monitoring system. The method further includes outputting information identifying the situations.
