A concave section for a harvester includes a concave body having an upstream side, a downstream side, a leading end and a trailing end. The concave body defines an arcuate crop engagement face facing radially inwardly. A plurality of crop passage openings are defined through the arcuate crop engagement face. A cover is configured to at least partially cover at least some of the crop passage openings. The cover is carried by the concave body and is movable thereon between at least two different positions to adjust a degree of openness of at least some of the crop passage openings.

A boring bit such as for horizontal directional drilling is provided which includes a hard faced layer that is preferably made by a laser cladding bead. The laser clad bead may be applied in some regions to a greater extent and in other regions to a lighter extent and with thicker coverage or longer regions of application in different regions of the boring bit. Additionally, circumferential segments of the hard faced layer bead may be applied to impart a spiral path on the outer periphery of the boring bit which may be overlapped upon more general hard faced layer application. Further, the hard faced layer may be applied in substantially complete coverage over carbide insert teeth that are embedded within the steel base of the boring bit body.

A boring bit or other component for horizontal directional drilling is provided which includes a hard faced layer that is preferably made by a laser cladding bead. A subsequent or post heat treatment is applied to modify the heat affected zone (HAZ) to eliminate or reduce the hard brittle regions and/or softer regions in the base iron or steel material of the HAZ. Further, the hard faced layer may be applied in combination with carbide insert teeth that are embedded within the steel base of the boring bit body, such as by press fitting.

The invention is directed to a seat caddy. The caddy connects to a support shaft below a seat and has a laterally extending arm. Connected to the laterally extending arm are various trays, connectors, and the like for connecting various utility devices to the laterally extending arm, such as cup holder, phone holder, quick connects for receipt of an umbrella, fishing net, or other extending rods, bucket holder, or other items. In some embodiments, the seat caddy is rotatably connected to the base of the seat, such that the caddy may be rotated about an axis of the support for positioning in different locations relative to the seat.

A knifeback for a sickle bar assembly that supports individual sickle sections is provided. The knifeback includes a bar having a channel formed longitudinally therein. Mounting holes extend through the bar and into the channel to facilitate mounting of sickle sections. The channel may provide strength and rigidity, provide structure for engaging sickle fastening bolts to prevent rotation thereof, and/or may be used to increase support and rigidity of a splicing member.

In one aspect, a method includes encrypting data for a sending device using an encryption key. The encryption key is not stored on a server. The method includes decrypting the encrypted data transmitted from the sending device to a receiving device using a decryption key. The decryption key is also not stored on a server.

Methods are provided for routing communications between different recipients at an entity having access to a shared communication log and using presence information. The methods include receiving a communication from a user to an entity by a primary recipient at a call center for the entity, obtaining identifying information for the user, storing a communication log regarding the communication of the user, identifying a current presence of a secondary recipient for the entity, transferring the communication from the primary recipient to the secondary recipient in response to the presence identification of the secondary recipient indicating the secondary recipient is accessible, updating the communication log with information regarding the transfer from the primary recipient to the secondary recipient, and providing the communication log to the secondary recipient during the communication between the first user and the primary recipient or secondary recipient.

A method including identifying an interaction between two parties, the interaction hosted by a remote server, is provided. The method includes identifying a first mode from a provider for the interaction by the two parties from multiple modes provided by the remote server, and obtaining, from the remote server, an identification for each of the parties, the identification being associated with the mode. The method includes identifying a duration of the interaction for each of the at least two parties and associating the interaction with an asynchronous interaction in a second communication mode from a second provider having a common identification with one of the parties. The method includes storing, in a database, a record of the interaction event that includes the first mode, the identification for each of the at least two parties, and the duration of the interaction for each of the at least two parties.
