A container for housing a liquid-filled bag has at least four walls including first and second side walls, a front wall, and a back wall. The front wall has a front wall panel, and the back wall has a back wall panel interconnected with first and second side wall panels. A first inner shield flap is coupled to the front wall panel, a second inner shield flap is coupled to the back wall panel, and a first top flap is coupled to the first side wall panel. The first top flap defines a first handhold opening. A second top flap is coupled to the second side wall panel and defines a second handhold opening. The first and second handhold openings overlap to define a handhold when the second top flap is folded over the first top flap. The handhold is offset from free ends of the first and second inner shield flaps.

A shipping mailer has a first wall and a second wall that at least partially define an interior of the shipping mailer. The shipping mailer has a closed first end portion and a second end portion, the second end portion comprising an opening sealable by a closure. A plurality of corrugations are coupled to the first wall and to the second wall in the interior of the shipping mailer. The corrugations of the first wall and the corrugations of the second wall have respective preformed fold lines at the closed first end portion about which the first wall and the second wall are configured to fold when an object is inserted into the shipping mailer to create an end wall extending between the first and second walls at the closed first end portion of the shipping mailer.

A display container for shipping and displaying product includes a removable panel portion that, when removed, opens a display opening in the container. The container has outer walls reinforced by interior liner panel sections. The display container desirably includes interior corner gussets that add to the vertical crush resistance or stacking strength of the container. The display container is desirably formed from a single piece corrugated paper board blank and is designed so that it can be assembled into a container knock down state in one pass through a box forming machine.

Wall panels for a corrugated paper board container have bulge control lines formed therein to control the bending of the wall panels as the container is loaded with contents, such as liquid containing contents. The bulge control lines are configured to control the bending of the wall panels to mitigate the possibility of undesirable spouting that makes the containers more difficult to store.

A container assembly. The container assembly includes a tube portion having a plurality of sides formed from an inner fiberboard layer, an outer fiberboard layer, and at least one corrugated layer sandwiched therebetween, an internal surface of the inner fiberboard layer having a first generally water-resistant coating, the inner fiberboard layer extending around a bottom of the corrugated layer and being adhered to at least a portion of the outer fiberboard layer. The container assembly further includes a base portion including a bottom panel and a plurality of flaps extending from the bottom panel, the base portion including a second generally water-resistant coating, the plurality of flaps overlapping a portion of the plurality of sides. The plurality of flaps is adhered to respective ones of the plurality of sides by one or more continuous adhesive lines.

A container is disclosed. The container comprises a side portion including a plurality of side panels. The container further comprises a bottom portion including a plurality of bottom panels. Each of the plurality of bottom panels extend from a respective one of the plurality of sides. The container includes a first linerboard, a second linerboard, at least one corrugated medium positioned between the first and second linerboards, and at least one additional linerboard being coupled to at least a portion of the first linerboard.

A container comprising a front panel, a first back panel, a second back panel, a first side panel bridging the front panel and the first back panel, a second side panel bridging the front panel and the second back panel, a top portion, and a bottom portion. The front panel, first and second back panels, first and second side panels, top portion, and bottom portion define an interior of the container. The container further comprises a divider extending from the first back panel into the interior of the container and attached to the front panel. The container further comprises a detachable portion comprising a removable section of the top portion, a removable section of the front panel, and a removable section of the divider. The detachable portion is separable from the container along a plurality of lines of weakness.

Retail shipper display container

A reinforced container assembly and method for making the same are provided. The reinforced container assembly comprises a fiberboard container and a first reinforcement strap. The fiberboard container has a lower portion and an upper portion. The first reinforcement strap wraps continuously around a periphery of the container a plurality of times in a spiraling manner from a starting point of the reinforcement strap to a terminating point of the reinforcement strap. The reinforcement strap physically connects to the container at a first location. The reinforcement strap is further physically connected to the container at second location. The reinforcement strap provides structural support to the fiberboard container to increase the strength of the container assembly.

Continuously wound reinforced container and method of making the same

A container for transporting meat, produce, and other goods contains a bottom wall, side walls, and end walls. The end walls include hinged platform structures movable between a closed position and an open position. The closed position enables stable stacking of multiple containers and the open position allows easy access to the interior of the container for loading and unloading. The hinged platforms further add stability to the container walls when in the closed position.

Economical, stackable container for retail goods

A stackable produce container is formed from a flat one-piece blank, typically of corrugated paper stock. The container has reinforced corners and is divided into compartments by transverse ribs which provide resistance to bulging under load and when exposed to high humidity.

Displayable modular container for produce

A container for distribution and display of goods is convertible from a first configuration for distribution into a second configuration for display. The conversion is accomplished by removing a front cover panel. The front cover panel may be attached to the container using a variety of methods, including a perforated score line, a tear-away strip, adhesives, tapes, or a combination of these methods. When the front cover panel is removed for retail display, an access opening is uncovered, allowing users to easily view and access the contents of the container. The front cover panel may further cover graphics and text provided along the front of the container so that the graphics and text are not marred or otherwise damaged during distribution. In addition, the front cover panel may be provided with distribution information thereon, which is unimportant to an end user such as a retail customer and is easily removed for display of the container.

Easily displayable shipping container

A produce container comprises a bottom wall, a pair of opposing side walls, a front wall, and a back wall. The front and back walls are reinforced along their tops by partial rollovers, each of which comprises two flanges&mdash;a center flange and a major flange&mdash;hingedly attached to the wall being reinforced. Each rollover is formed by first folding the center flange slightly away from the major flange and then folding the major flange downward toward the corresponding wall. Folding the major flange captures the center flange and at the same time forms doubled, indexed stacking tabs whose tops are formed along the axis about which the major flap is folded. The corners where the side walls and front and back walls join are reinforced by corner structures, with the corner structures extending along a portion of each of the joining walls so that the corners are reinforced along each wall with at least two layers of vertically-corrugated paperboard. The corners are further reinforced by shoulders extending across the top of the container at the corners and affixed to the side walls and the front and back walls where they join. The shoulders extend a short distance inward toward the center of the box and, in addition to reinforcing the corners, serve to prevent stacked containers from nesting.

Produce container and method for making the same

The present invention provides a stackable open-top container for use in shipping, storing and retail display of produce and other articles. The produce container of the present invention contains a bottom wall, two side walls, and two end walls. The concave ledges of the side walls contain curved scores. Each side wall contains two panels, each of which contains a mirrored curved score and two minor flaps. The curved scores cause the side walls to go into tension and create stacking shoulders for other containers. The minor flaps of the side walls surround the end walls to increase structural rigidity.
