A chip sleeve garment including an outer layer of fabric connected to an inner layer of fabric to form a sleeve with a space between the outer layer of fabric and the inner layer of fabric. Foam chips, flat foam, or foam with ridges are disposed in the space between the outer layer of fabric and the inner layer of fabric. The garment includes two ends, including at least one open end, and a notch in at least one open end having an opening. The notch can be separated to create a larger opening than the opening to allow the garment to be donned or doffed easier than the opening allows. A second garment can be disposed over the chip sleeve garment. Either the chip sleeve garment, the second garment, or both can be compression garments.

Foam sleeve garment with easy access feature

A method and system for tailoring a compression garment having a first lateral end and a second lateral end. A first tension tab releasably attachable to the compression garment; wherein the first tension tab includes at least a first indicator and a second indicator on an outer surface. The first tension tab being attachable to the compression garment and the first strap being attachable onto the compression garment adjacent or over at least a portion of the first tension tab with a first strap covering a first part of the first tension tab and terminating at a first strap end that exposes a second portion of the first tension tab. A first tension tab setting indicates whether the end of the first strap terminates adjacent or over the first indicator or the second indicator of the first tension tab.

Method for tailoring a compression garment

A method for tailoring a compression garment including a first sheet and a second sheet, each having a first lateral end and a second lateral end, at least one strap for holding together the first lateral end of the first sheet and the first lateral end of the second sheet. The strap is tightenable to establish a compression level to a human limb or body part. The method includes: adjusting the strap; draping the compression garment around the limb or the body part; holding the second lateral end of the first sheet and the second lateral end of the second sheet together to pull the first sheet, the second sheet and the strap into contact with the limb or body part; marking a cutting line on one or both sheets; cutting the sheets along the cutting line; and splicing together both cut ends with at least one splicing element.

A closing device for drawers, the device having a housing with a holding notch and a slider having a resilient latching arm that is bendable to engage the holding notch, as well as a spring that engages the housing and the slider to urge the slider to a rearward position relative to the housing. The resilient latching arm has a slot adapted to receive a pin, whereby as the drawer is moved from its closed position, the relative movement of the pin advances the slider to a position where the resilient latching arm engages the holding notch and the drawer is free to mover further outward without influence of the closing device. As the drawer is moved rearward toward its closed position, the relative movement of the pin will cause it to engage the slot in the resilient latching arm, further causing it to release from the holding notch and to be urged by the spring to move the drawer toward a closed position.

Interlocks for file cabinets and the like which generally prevent more than one drawer from being opened at a given time. The interlocks include a cable which is changeable from a slack condition to a taut condition. In the taut condition, the interlocks prevent the associated drawer from being opened. In the slack condition, the interlock allows the associated drawer to be opened. The interlocks may be used in conjunction with a lock that selectively changes the tension in the cable from a slack condition to a taut condition and vise versa. The interlocks may be constructed to exert a tension on a cable that is independent of the pulling force exerted on a locked drawer. Alternatively, the interlocks may be constructed to exert a force on the cable that is a small fraction of the pulling force exerted on a locked drawer.

A precision drawer slide, employing two or more members, wherein, one member is fastened to a cabinet wall, or carcass, and the other member is fastened to a drawer. The member fastened to the cabinet wall comprises a profile that has a &ldquo;hat&rdquo; section appearance that generates a surprising amount of rigidity when installed in desk and file cabinets of various kinds. The drawer and cabinet member are also strategically foreshortened and rear-shortened respectively. Other variations or embodiments include the usage of a novel quick disconnect system for the easy installation and removal of a drawer from the drawer slide assembly, as well as the inclusion of a roller bearing component for generation of a progression movement in the drawer slide itself.

Precision drawer slide with cantilevered members

A drawer slide assembly for supporting a drawer on a cabinet in which the slide channels include in-stop elements at the outer ends to facilitate positioning and assembly of the drawer slide assembly. At least one anti-scrape polymeric guide bushing is located at the outer ends of the channels in order to reduce binding and scraping of the slide channels.
