Electrical connector

A method for assembling a stator structure of a motor comprises providing a stator coil and a stator frame. The stator coil has a wire with an end segment and the stator frame includes a connector and a conductor. The conductor has an open-barrel crimping portion and a temporary holding portion. The method further comprises positioning the end segment of the wire in the crimping portion and a tip end of the end segment in the temporary holding portion. The method further comprises crimping the crimping portion to the end segment of the wire to electrically connect the connector and the end segment of the wire by penetrating an insulating coating of the end segment.

An electrical terminal is disclosed. The electrical terminal has a contact made of a first kind of metal and a coupling member made of a second kind of metal fixed to the contact. The coupling member has a crimping portion crimped to press the first contact against an electrical wire made of the first kind of metal.

A contact preventing a plurality of current paths joining together and having a contact main body having a wire fixing portion and a contacting member which is a member formed separately from the contact main body is provided. Contact

An electrical terminal is disclosed. The electrical terminal has a first contact made of a first metal and a coupling member made of a metal fixed to the first contact. The coupling member has a cantilever extending along the first contact with a free end extending toward the first contact. The cantilever presses a second contact made of the first metal against the first contact.

A terminal block is disclosed having a leaf spring, a contact, a cam member, and a spring member. The contact is positioned adjacent to the leaf spring and has a contact seat. The contact seat has a projection extending towards the leaf spring and is positionable in a hole of a ring terminal inserted into the terminal block. The cam member is in rotatable contact with the leaf spring, has a rotational axis extending in a direction of insertion of the ring terminal, and when in contact with the leaf spring, presses the leaf spring against the contact. The spring member is located closer to the leaf spring than the contact seat and biased against the inserted ring terminal.

Terminal block

The connector includes a pin contact, a housing, a sealing member, and a limitation member. The pin contact is rod-shaped and makes contact with a mating contact. The housing includes a through hole through which the pin contact extends from a top of the housing to a bottom of the housing, with parts of the pin contact protruding from both of the top of the housing and the bottom of the housing. The sealing member seals the space between through hole and the pin contact. The limitation member applies a reaction force against a force experienced by the pin contact through a contact of the mating contact, so as to limit inclination of the pin contact.
