An opposed-piston engine includes: a cylinder having a scavenging port on one side in an axial direction and an exhaust port on another side in the axial direction, a scavenging-side piston disposed inside the cylinder on the one side in the axial direction, an exhaust-side piston disposed inside the cylinder on the other side in the axial direction; and at least one fuel injection device configured to inject fuel between the scavenging-side piston and the exhaust-side piston inside the cylinder. A top surface of the exhaust-side piston is formed in a flat shape, a top surface of the scavenging-side piston has a scavenging-side cavity with a predetermined cavity volume, and the at least one fuel injection device includes at least one scavenging-side fuel injection device having a central axis inclined to the one side in the axial direction toward an inner side in a radial direction of the cylinder.

Opposed-piston engine

An opposed-piston engine includes: a cylinder; a one-side piston disposed inside the cylinder on one side in an axial direction; and an other-side piston disposed inside the cylinder on another side in the axial direction. Atop surface of the one-side piston has a one-side cavity recessed in a central portion. A top surface of the other-side piston has an other-side cavity recessed in a central portion. An outer peripheral edge of the one-side cavity is at least 0.1D1 away from an outer peripheral edge of the top surface of the one-side piston over the entire circumference, where D1 is a diameter of the top surface of the one-side piston. An outer peripheral edge of the other-side cavity is at least 0.1D2 away from an outer peripheral edge of the top surface of the other-side piston over the entire circumference, where D2 is a diameter of the top surface of the other-side piston.

Processing system and control method for handling continuous sheet of material

In order to provide, to a roll-to-roll printing apparatus which seamlessly performs printing on a base material using a roll-to-roll method, performance for finely controlling the tension of the base material, the roll-to-roll printing apparatus includes a drive roll () that supplies a base material (B) to a plate cylinder, a drive roll actuator that rotates the drive roll (), a dancer actuator () that changes a path line length of the base material (B) to vary the tension of the base material (B), a tension detection device () that detects the tension of the base material (B), and a tension control device () that controls the drive roll actuator and the dancer actuator () in accordance with a result of the detection by the tension detection device () to compensate for a variation in the tension of the base material (B). A first event type candidate group having a high confidence score among the evaluated event type candidates is extracted and a first candidate confidence score is calculated from each confidence score of each event type candidate of the first event type candidate group. A first candidate importance is calculated from first importance held by an event type corresponding to each event type candidate belonging to the first event type candidate group and information other than the first importance. A diagram corresponding to each event is represented in a coordinate space by using the first candidate confidence score and the first candidate importance.

An endoscopic treatment tool includes a sheath, a support portion which is attached to a distal end of the sheath, a pair of forceps members which are provided on the support portion, a linear portion which is inserted through the sheath so that the linear portion is capable of advancing and retracting, the linear portion causing facing surfaces each provided on the pair of forceps members to approach each other, and the linear portion separating the pair of facing surfaces from each other, an engaging portion which is provided in the support portion, an engaged portion which is provided in the linear portion, and a moving mechanism that moves the position of the distal end portion of the linear portion to a distal end position closer to the distal end side than the engaged portion.
