A tractor includes a three-point linkage to which a tiller is mountable, a hydraulic lifting/lowering driver to lift and lower the three-point linkage, and a mechanical linkage to transmit a lifting/lowering operation amount of the three-point linkage to the lifting/lowering driver. The mechanical linkage includes a load detector to detect an amount of change in traction load via the three-point linkage, a cable to interlock according to the amount of change in the traction load detected by the load detector, and a mechanical linkage interlocked and connected to the cable and the lifting/lowering driver, the mechanical linkage being capable of transmitting the lifting/lowering operation amount according to the amount of change in the traction load to the lifting/lowering driver.

A work vehicle includes a diesel engine, a heater to heat a gas to be supplied to a combustion chamber of the diesel engine, and a controller to execute an afterglow routine to cause the heater to operate. The controller is configured or programmed to execute the afterglow routine in response to the diesel engine being started, an elapse of a predetermined stop time since an end of a previous execution of the afterglow routine, and the work vehicle being in a warming-up state.

An improvement in a work vehicle having an exhaust gas treatment unit is disclosed. An engine is disposed in an engine room formed in a vehicle body and supported by the vehicle body. A support unit includes right and left vertical struts mounted on the vehicle body across the engine along a vehicle body transverse direction. The exhaust gas treatment unit is disposed inside the engine room and attached to the support unit upwardly of the engine, under a posture elongate along the vehicle body transverse direction.

A transmission system for transmitting power through a traveling transmission line and also through a PTO transmission line is disclosed. The system includes a clutch housing and a base transmission case connected via a housing frame. The base transmission case includes a front end opening and a rear end opening. A differential case is connected to the rear end opening. The front end opening is selectively connected with either a gear change speed case having a gear change speed mechanism or an HST case having an HST mechanism. When the gear change speed mechanism is selectively used, a PTO power output portion communicates with the PTO transmission line and a traveling power output portion communicates with the traveling transmission line. When the HST mechanism is selectively used, a pump shaft communicates with the PTO transmission line and a motor shaft communicates with the traveling transmission line.
