A first-adhesive surface is provided on an upper portion of a head chip, a holder accommodates the head chip between the holder and a fixing plate and has a second-adhesive surface formed with an opening of a second-supply flow passage communicating with the head chip, the first-adhesive surface and the second-adhesive surface adhere to each other with a first-adhesive so as to define a coupling flow passage coupling between a first-supply flow passage and the second-supply flow passage, the upper portion of the head chip has a first-contact portion, the holder has a first-contacted portion facing the first-contact portion, and a first-dimension between the first-contact portion and the first-contacted portion is smaller than a second-dimension between the first-adhesive surface and the second-adhesive surface.

Liquid ejecting head and liquid ejecting apparatus

A liquid ejecting head includes a nozzle configured to eject ink, a filter chamber accommodating a filter, and a nozzle introduction port through which the ink flows out of the filter chamber. The filter chamber includes a first side and a second side that extend toward the nozzle introduction port in plan view in a direction perpendicular to the filter, and the nozzle introduction port is elongated along the first side in plan view in the direction perpendicular to the filter.

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a liquid ejecting portion; a liquid storage portion; a filter chamber including an upstream chamber and a downstream chamber divided by a filter; a supply path; a discharge path; an opening/closing valve opening/closing the discharge path; and a pump pressurizing the ink in order to make the ink flow from the liquid storage portion to the upstream chamber, wherein a filling operation of filling the upstream chamber with the ink by driving the pump so that the ink does not pass through the filter in a state in which the opening/closing valve is opened, and then closing the opening/closing valve while the ink is flowing from the liquid storage portion toward the supply path, the upstream chamber, and the discharge path by the driving of the pump is performed.

Liquid ejecting apparatus and filling method of liquid ejecting head

A liquid ejecting head unit configured to eject a liquid includes a flow channel member, and a liquid ejecting head configured to eject the liquid supplied from the flow channel member, in which the flow channel member includes a flow channel structure having a supply flow channel through which the liquid supplied from the outside flows, and a supply protrusion that protrudes from the flow channel structure and has a supply port for supplying the liquid from the outside to the supply flow channel, a wall surface of the supply flow channel is made of a resin, and at least a part of the supply protrusion is made of a metal.

Liquid ejecting head unit

A liquid discharge head includes: a liquid chamber; a supply flow path supplying liquid to the liquid chamber; a discharging flow path being provided away from the supply flow path in a horizontal direction and discharging the liquid from the liquid chamber; a first-connecting-flow-path communicating between the liquid chamber and the supply flow path; and nozzles for discharging the liquid supplied from the liquid chamber. The first-connecting-flow-path includes a first-supply-bottom-surface inclined downward with respect to a horizontal plane at a first-angle from the supply flow path toward the liquid chamber, and a second-supply-bottom-surface located between the first-supply-bottom-surface and the liquid chamber and inclined downward with respect to the horizontal plane at a second-angle from the first-supply-bottom-surface toward the liquid chamber. The first-angle is greater than or equal to 0 degrees and is less than 90 degrees, and the second-angle is greater than the first-angle and is less than 90 degrees.

Liquid discharge head and liquid discharge apparatus

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a rotary member that rotates in a rotational direction; a first head unit that is disposed along a circumferential surface of the rotary member and ejects a first liquid; and a second head unit that ejects a second liquid whose property of attacking an organic material is stronger than the first liquid, in which an angle which an ejection surface of the second head unit forms with a horizontal plane is smaller than an angle which an ejection surface of the first head unit forms with the horizontal plane.
