An electric pump device includes a single motor, a pump that discharges fluid from a discharge port with driving force of the motor, and a flow passage switch that includes outlets configured to be in communication with the discharge port and switches an outlet of the outlets that is in communication with the discharge port with driving force of the motor.

Electric pump device

An onboard optical sensor cleaning device ejects fluid against a sensing surface of an onboard optical sensor installed in a vehicle and removes foreign matter from the sensing surface. The onboard optical sensor cleaning device includes a cleaning liquid ejection port that ejects supplied cleaning liquid and an air ejection port that ejects supplied air. The cleaning liquid ejection port and the air ejection port are independent from each other, an air ejection axis of the air ejection port is set so that the ejected air mixes with the cleaning liquid ejected from the cleaning liquid ejection port and to be directed toward the sensing surface.

Onboard optical sensor cleaning device

An electric air pump is provided that includes (i) a motor that includes a rotary shaft provided with a worm, (ii) a crank that includes a worm wheel which engages with the worm and a rod with one end rotatably coupled to the worm wheel, and (iii) a piston that is housed in a cylinder extending along an axial direction of the motor, that is coupled to another end of the rod and moves back and forth along an extension direction of the cylinder due to actuation of the crank, and that ejects air inside the cylinder from a valve provided at one end of the cylinder due to being moved toward the one end side of the cylinder.

Electric air pump

An electric pump includes a cylinder, a piston, a motor, and a discharge valve. The cylinder includes a valve port and a discharge port, which is in communication with the valve port. The discharge valve opens and closes the valve port. When the piston is moved forth to narrow a void in the cylinder, air is compressed in the cylinder. The discharge valve opens when operated by the piston that moves forth. The discharge valve opens and discharges compressed air from the valve port so that fluid including air is discharged from the discharge port.

Electric pump and cleaning device for on-vehicle optical sensor

The on-vehicle optical sensor cleaning system includes a washer pump that feeds a cleaning liquid, an air pump, a nozzle member, and a controller. The air pump includes a discharge valve and discharges air through the discharge valve. The discharge valve opens when air is compressed in the air pump. The nozzle member includes an ejection port that ejects a gas-liquid mixture toward a sensing surface of an on-vehicle optical sensor to remove foreign matter from the sensing surface. The cleaning liquid from the washer pump and the air from the air pump are mixed in the gas-liquid mixture. The controller controls the washer pump and the air pump. The controller is configured so that the gas-liquid mixture is ejected by storing the cleaning liquid in the nozzle member to cover the ejection port and then feeding the air to the nozzle member.

System for cleaning on-vehicle optical sensor and method for the same

A direct-current motor includes a yoke having six magnetic poles, an iron core having nine teeth, first and second coils wound about each tooth in directions different from each other, a commutator for being rotated integrally with the iron core and having eighteen commutator pieces, and three pairs of brushes. The brush having the positive pole electrically connected to the first coil is different from the brush having the positive pole electrically connected to the second coil, the brush having the negative pole electrically connected to the first coil is different from the brush having the negative pole electrically connected to the second coil, or the brush having the positive pole and the brush having the negative pole that are electrically connected to the first coil are respectively different from the brush having the positive pole and the brush having the negative pole that are electrically connected to the second coil.

Direct current motor, coil winding method for direct-current motor, and method for manufacturing direct-current motor

A plurality of teeth of an armature core arranged in a circumferential direction each include an inner winding portion in its proximal region and first and second branch portions that extend radially and branch off in a bifurcated manner from a distal end of the inner winding portion in the circumferential direction. After winding the first to ninth coils around the inner winding portions of all of the teeth, the tenth to eighteenth coils are wound sequentially around outer winding portions of adjacent ones of the teeth each including the first branch portion of one of the two adjacent teeth and the second branch portion of the other one of the adjacent teeth.

Armature, method for winding coil, and DC motor

A motor is provided that includes magnetic poles, an armature core, armature coils, a commutator, and power supply brushes. The armature core includes teeth arranged in the circumferential direction to extend in a radial pattern. The armature coils include inner layer coils and outer layer coils. Each of the inner layer coils is wound around radially proximal end portions of two circumferentially adjacent teeth or a radially proximal end portion of one of the teeth. The inner layer coils are arranged in the circumferential direction without overlapping each other in the radial direction. Each of the outer layer coils is wound around radially distal end portions of two circumferentially adjacent teeth by distributed winding. The outer layer coils are arranged radially outward of the inner layer coils and are arranged in the circumferential direction without overlapping each other in the radial direction. The circumferential center of the inner layer coils and the circumferential center of the outer layer coils are displaced in the circumferential direction.
