A blood pressure information measurement device, including first and second fluid bags in the first fluid bag; a pressure mechanism increases/decreases pressure in an internal space of the first fluid bag and the pressure in the internal space of the second bag; a control unit controls operation of the pressure mechanism; a pressure detection device detects an internal pressure of the first and the second fluid bag; and a calculation unit that calculates blood pressure information detected by the device. In calculating blood pressure information, the control unit controls operation of the pressure increase/reduction mechanism after the internal space of one fluid bag of the first and second fluid bags pressurized and expanded until internal pressure of one fluid bag reaches a predetermined pressure, the internal space of the other fluid bag of the first and second fluid bags pressurized and expanded while the one bag is kept sealed.

Blood pressure information measuring device

Blood pressure information measurement device includes cuff including first and second fluid bag accommodated in first fluid bag, pressure increase/reduction mechanism configured to increase and decrease pressure in first fluid bag internal space and pressure in an internal space of second fluid bag, control unit configured to control operation of pressure increase/reduction mechanism, pressure detection device configured to detect first fluid bag internal pressure, and calculation unit configured to calculate blood pressure information. In calculating blood pressure information, control unit is configured to pressurize second fluid bag internal space with pressurization of internal space of first fluid bag being stopped, and after second fluid bag internal pressure increases until difference in pressure between internal pressure of second fluid bag and internal pressure of first fluid bag reaches predetermined value, pressurize both internal spaces of the first and second fluid bags such that difference in pressure is kept at predetermined value.

With the blood pressure meter of the present invention, a pump unit is connected via a first fluid path to a fluid bladder. The first fluid path extends straight in the Z direction between the pump unit and the fluid bladder, sends air supplied from the pump unit to the fluid bladder or sends air inside of the fluid bladder to a valve.

Blood pressure meter

A blood pressure meter includes a cuff serving as a blood pressure measurement cuff, a main body attached in an opposing manner to the cuff, a display unit having a rectangular width and being arranged along an external face of the main body on a side opposite to the cuff, and first to third light emitting elements serving as light emitting units arranged inside the main body at positions that are farther from the external face than the display unit is. The first to third light emitting elements serving as a light emitting unit are arranged in a row in the width direction of the cuff. The display unit has a cutout portion at the center of one end side with respect to the direction in which the cuff extends. The cutout portion is formed by cutting out a region corresponding to the first to third light emitting elements.
