A method for manufacturing a fine pattern includes steps of forming a master substrate having an electrode layer patterned to a predetermined shape, forming peel layers made of a conductive water-repellent thin film on the master substrate, forming the fine pattern made of the electrodeposit resin on the peel layers, impregnating the electrodeposit resin with water, and stripping the fine pattern off the master substrate and transferring the fine pattern on a bonding layer of the media substrate. A color filter and a shading pattern filter are manufactured by the method for manufacturing the fine pattern. The color LCD element includes plastic film substrates, a transparent pixel electrode, a liquid crystal material, and color filters. The color filters are pasted on the plastic film with a bonding film laid therebetween. The color LCD element includes fine emittable filters two-dimensionally created as the color filter on a light-transmissive substrate so that the emittable filter is composed to seal at least one kind of the light-storage and the fluorescent coloring particles in the electrodeposit resin layer.

Method for manufacturing fine pattern, and color filter, shading pattern

A method for manufacturing a fine pattern is provided which method makes it possible to well reproducibly and completely strip and transfer the fine pattern, repetitively use a master substrate, and simply form a high-definition and high-density fine pattern with good massproductivity. Further, a color filter and a shading pattern filter are implemented by the fine pattern. A color LCD element with the color filter is provided which enables to output a well color-reproducibly high-quality image with no color or brightness evenness. Moreover, a color LCD element is provided which enables to continuously output a coloring function for a certain length of time after light from a light source or ambient light disappears and form a brighter and more vivid image. Method for manufacturing fine pattern

The present invention relates to a method for forming a layer of isotropic soft magnetic nitride alloy even by means of mass-production apparatus wherein a target size is large in comparison to a distance between a substrate and a target, by using a bias sputtering method wherein a negative bias voltage is continuously applied to a substrate and sputtering is carried out in Ar atmosphere mixed with nitrogen gas or periodically mixed with nitrogen gas. Furthermore, the present invention may include a heat treatment of the soft magnetic nitride alloy layer deposited on the substrate in a temperature of more than 300.degree..degree.C. to less than 800.degree. C. to improve a soft magnetic characteristic.

Method for forming a soft magnetic nitride layer on a magnetic head

The soft magnetic alloy film of the present invention is not a simple nitride alloy film but incorporates a compositional modulation in which at least the content of nitrogen is periodically modulated in the direction of film thickness after the deposition of the alloy film by a sputtering procedure. Also, the soft magnetic alloy film of the present invention contains a main content of Fe for providing higher saturation magnetization, one or more metals selected from Nb, Ta, Zr, Ti, and Hf, and fine grains of Fe based materials developed after annealing. Therefore, the soft magnetic alloy film of the present invention can exhibit better magnetic properties including higher saturation magnetization and improved soft magnetic characteristics after the annealing and also, ensuring minimum magnetostriction with a specific composition.

Soft magnetic alloy films

A metal-in-gap type magnetic head having a small undulation of reproduction output caused by a pseudo-gap and method of manufacture thereof are provided, wherein the magnetic head employs as a back core a ferrite (particularly, a ferrite containing Sn) and employs in a metal portion which constitutes a front core an alloy film (particularly, a composition transition alloy film) having a composition expressed by T-M-X-N, where T is at least one metal element selected from a group consisting of Fe, Co and Ni, M is at least one metal element selected from a group consisting of Nb, Zr, Ti, Ta, Hf, Cr, Mo, W and Mn, X is at least one metalloid element selected from a group consisting of B, Si and Ge, and N is nitrogen.

Magnetic head and method of manufacturing the same

A nitrogen-containing Fe-based soft magnetic alloy suitable for use as the material of a magnetic head core, as well as a method for manufacturing the soft magnetic alloy film. Unlike a mere nitride alloy film, the soft magnetic alloy of the present invention has a compositionally modulated structure in which at least the nitrogen content is periodically modulated in the direction of thickness of the film so as to have a nitride layer rich at least in nitrogen and a non-nitride layer poor at least in nitrogen. The soft magnetic alloy film of the invention comprises a main constituent of Fe, at least one metalloid element selected from the group consisting of B, Si and C, and at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of Nb, Ta, Zr and Ti and has fine Fe-based grains included therein. By virtue of these film structure and film composition, the soft magnetic alloy film of the invention exhibits superior magnetic characteristics such as low coercive force, high saturation magnetization and low magnetostriction, as well as superior resistance both to corrosion and wear.

Soft magnetic alloy films having a modulated nitrogen content

There is disclosed herein a magnetic head comprising a ring-like magnetic core composed of first and second magnetic core halves made of a ferrite and held in abutment against each other so as to form a magnetic gap therebetween and an elongated tape-contact surface extending across the magnetic gap. The magnetic core has in the tape-contact surface a channel formed to as to extend in the direction across the magnetic gap and the channel is filled with a magnetic metal material having a high-saturation magnetization. Preferably, the channel has a substantially V-shaped cross section. The magnetic gap exposed on the tape-contact surface is surrounded by the magnetic metal material and non-magnetic glass members provided at both ends of the magnetic gap. The non-magnetic glass members are provided so that the track width is constant from the tape-contact surface to an upper end of a winding hole of the ring-like magnetic core.

A method of manufacturing a magnetic head includes fabricating a magnetic block having a lamination of magnetic alloy films and nonmagnetic substrates, and cutting the magnetic block into two bars to obtain magnetic core halves. A nonmagnetic film is formed on a surface of each of the core halves. The core halves are joined by adjoining the surfaces having the nonmagnetic film and then heating the thus adjoined core halves. Additionally, a magnetic field is applied rotating in a plane parallel to a plane of the magnetic alloy films. The joined core halves is then cut into a specified width, and a wire-winding window is machined therein.
