An air-conditioner for a vehicle includes: a first circuit in which a cooling medium circulates; a heater heating the cooling medium; a first pump disposed in the first circuit; a second circuit cooling a heat emitting portion; a second pump disposed in the second circuit; an adjustment portion controlling a circulation amount of the cooling medium flowing in the first circuit and a circulation amount of the cooling medium flowing in the second circuit; and a control portion. The vehicle includes a regenerative device, and a storage device is charged with electric energy recovered by the regenerative device. When the regenerative device is recovering the electric energy and when it is determined that power in the storage device needs to be consumed, the control portion drives the heater to heat the cooling medium such that the power in the storage device is converted into heat energy.

Air-conditioner for vehicle

When an economy switch signal is ON to instruct that fuel economy should be given priority, a blower of an air conditioning device is operated using a blower characteristic map for fuel economy so that a blower level of the air conditioning device is changed with respect to the change in an engine coolant temperature at a low rate. Also, it is determined whether an engine needs to be operated or stopped using an engine operation map for fuel economy so that the engine is likely to be stopped.

In a vehicle air conditioner for heating a passenger compartment by a heater core and a heat pump cycle, when operation of a heat pump cycle is switched from a defrosting operation to a heating assist operation, a heating degree of the heater core is increased higher than a predetermined heating degree. Further, when the operation of the heat pump cycle is switched from the defrosting operation to the heating assist operation, an air outlet mode except for a defrosting mode for defrosting a windshield is set. Further, in the defrosting operation of the heat pump cycle, the temperature of an interior heat exchanger of the heat pump cycle is set higher.

Vehicle air conditioner with defrosting operation in exterior heat exchanger

In a battery cooling system that cools a battery by using conditioned air (inside air of a passenger compartment) of a vehicle air conditioner, a battery control unit controls a battery blower to increase an air amount supplied to the battery when a predetermined condition is satisfied. In contrast, an air-conditioning control unit decreases a compression capacity of a compression device after an air amount supplied to the battery is increased to a predetermined amount by the battery control unit. For example, the air-conditioning control unit decreases the compression capacity of the compression device after a predetermined time passes after the air amount supplied to the battery is increased to the predetermined amount. Accordingly, the temperature inside the passenger compartment and the compression device can be stably controlled.

When a preset protection temperature is exceeded, an air conditioning device for a vehicle equipped with air conditioner inverter protection means works to lower the output of the air conditioner inverter. This lowers the output of the air conditioner inverter, whereby heat is released in decreased amounts from the coolant through a first heat exchanger suppressing a rise in the temperature of the EV cooling water.

In a vehicle air conditioner with a heat pump cycle having an interior heat exchanger and an exterior heat exchanger, when a frosting on a surface of the exterior heat exchanger is determined and when a temperature of hot water supplied to a heater core is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature, the exterior heat exchanger is defrosted in a defrosting operation. Accordingly, the defrosting operation can be performed while a sufficient heating can be obtained.

In an air conditioner for a hybrid vehicle, when a residual charging degree of a battery becomes equal to or lower than a target degree, the electrical motor generator is driven by a vehicle engine so that the battery is charged through the electrical motor generator. When the engine is driven, the target degree of the battery is set higher than that when the engine is stopped so that a charging operation tends to be required while the engines driven. Accordingly, the frequency for starting the engine only for charging the battery is reduced.

An air conditioning system includes compressor protective means for protecting a compressor. The compressor protective means includes first and second protective values. The first protective value is set for preventing a failure of a compressor. The second protective value is lower than the first protective value in order to prevent a high pressure in a refrigerant cycle system from reaching the first protective value. The compressor protective means sets the second protective value such that the second protective value used before an elapse of a predetermined time period from startup of the compressor is lower than the second protective value used after the elapse of the predetermined time period.

A heat pump air conditioner has a heat exchanger, a separator for separating refrigerant discharged from the heat exchanger into gas refrigerant and liquid refrigerant, and a compressor. Gas refrigerant in the separator is sucked into the compressor through a gas suction pipe. Oil-dissolved liquid refrigerant in the separator is also sucked through an oil return hole formed at a bottom of the gas suction pipe into the compressor. At the time of starting the air conditioner, when it is judged that a surface of liquid refrigerant in the separator is rapidly lowered to the oil return hole, a rotational speed of the compressor is controlled so that an amount of refrigerant discharged from the compressor is decreased. As a result, the surface of liquid refrigerant is kept higher than the oil return hole, and oil shortage of the compressor is restricted.

Heat pump air conditioner

The evaporator and the condenser are disposed in a duct. First bypass passage is disposed at the side of the condenser and first air mixing damper rotates to control air bypassing amount. Further second bypass passage is formed at the side of the evaporator and second mixing damper rotates to control air bypassing amount. Cooling rate at the evaporator and heating rate at the condenser are varied so that air adjusted in proper temperature is generated and discharged from each outlets into a room. An outside heat exchanger is disposed the outside of the duct. Refrigerant flow is randomly switched among the outside heat exchanger, the evaporator and the condenser so that cooling, heating, dehumidifying, dehumidified-heating and defrosting operations are performed.

An air conditioning apparatus for an electric car capable of preventing condensation from forming on windshields, while decreasing electric power consumption. A duct forms therein a first passageway connecting an inside air inlet 8 with a lower outlet (foot outlet) 10 for discharging an air flow toward a lower part of a passenger in a cabin, and a second passageway for connecting an outside air inlet 11 with a defroster outlet 12 for discharging an air flow toward an inside surface of a windshield. A heat exchanger(s) is (are) arranged in the duct to make contact with the flow of air in the first and second passageways so as to heat the flows of air therein. The inside air after being heated by the heat exchanger is discharged from the lower outlet 10 to the cabin, while the outside air after heating is discharged from the defroster outlet 12 toward the windshield.
