A mechatronic integrated unit for a vehicle includes a housing including a first chamber and a second chamber located above the first chamber, a first motor disposed in the first chamber, a second motor disposed along a front-rear direction in the first chamber along with the first motor, at least part of the second motor being located above the first motor, and an electric circuit unit that is disposed in the second chamber and is electrically connected to at least one of the first motor or the second motor. A partition wall between the first chamber and the second chamber includes a bulging portion that bulges toward the second chamber from a portion other than the bulging portion and is located above the second motor. At least part of the electric circuit unit faces the bulging portion in the front-rear direction or in a right-left direction.

Mechatronic integrated unit

The electromechanical integration unit includes a motor housed in a first chamber of the housing, and a first electrical unit and a second electrical unit housed in a second chamber of the housing. The housing includes multiple motor terminals arranged in the second chamber. The first electrical unit includes multiple first terminals arranged together with the motor terminals. The second electrical unit includes multiple motor terminals and multiple second terminals connected to the first terminals. The first electrical component of the first electrical unit, together with the second electrical component of the second electrical component, constitutes a power control circuit for controlling the power supplied to the motor. A service hole is provided in the second chamber of the housing, and the motor terminals and the first terminal are connected to the second terminals in a range exposed to the outside through the service hole.

Electromechanical integration unit

A power convertor has a casing and a power conversion circuit arranged in an internal chamber of the casing. The casing has a first wall member as a specific side wall. A plurality of connector opening parts are formed in the first wall member. At least two of the plurality of connector opening parts formed in the first wall member are arranged at different positions facing a different direction from each other.

Power converter

An electric device installation structure in a vehicle includes an electric device configured to be fixed on a vehicle structural object in a front compartment of a vehicle. A cover is attached to an upper part of a case of the electric device. A first connector projects from a rear portion of the cover. A projection is provided on a rear surface of the case, the projection extending upward to a position above a boundary between the case and the cover.

Electric device installation structure in vehicle

An in-vehicle installation structure for an electric device installed in a front compartment of a vehicle includes: a structure disposed in a front compartment of a vehicle; an electric device fixed to an upper portion of the structure; a connector connected to a rear upper portion of the electric device; and a protector extending upward from the electric device, the protector being disposed behind the connector of the electric device.

In-vehicle installation structure for electric device

An electrical device configured to be provided in a vehicle includes a first case; and a second case that is fastened to the first case by a bolt. A side surface of the first case is provided with a columnar projection that extends along the side surface. The columnar projection is provided with a bolt insertion hole through which the bolt is inserted, the bolt insertion hole extending along the side surface. A center line of the bolt insertion hole is located closer to a center of the first case than a center line of the columnar projection is.

Electrical device

A power control unit is located inside a housing chamber of a driving unit of a vehicle, and the power control unit includes a casing housing a power conversion device. The casing includes casing segments, and fastening parts are located around the casing segments. The casing segments are fastened to each other with bolts at the fastening parts, and the fastening parts include a specific fastening part on which a shear load concentrates when a load is input into the casing, and an ordinary fastening part other than the specific fastening part. The specific fastening part has an induction portion inducing plastic deformation, which is configured to lower an elastic limit of the specific fastening part when the load is input into the casing, such that the specific fastening part undergoes plastic deformation earlier than the ordinary fastening part.

Power control unit and power control unit mounting structure

An electrical device is supported by a bracket above a transaxle in a front compartment of a vehicle. A DC power connector and an air conditioning connector are connected with a back face of a housing of the electrical device. The DC power connector has a higher strength than the air conditioning connector. A rear end of the DC power connector is located on a rear side than a rear end of the air conditioning connector.
