A device () for measuring the amount of water in a subject's body includes a main body part () formed in a linear shape and an insertion part () extending in a curved shape from one end of the main body part (). The insertion part () includes a tip side insertion part (-) having a tip surface () to which a sensor unit () is fixed and a base end side insertion part (-), wherein the sensor unit () is brought into contact with a body surface of a subject through a slide mechanism. A protective member () liquid-tightly covers the slide mechanism between the tip side insertion part (-) and a base end side insertion part (-). Provided is a moisture meter that can easily measure a moisture content of a subject and can be effectively used as means for assisting the subject in appropriately regulating the moisture content. A moisture meter for measuring a moisture content of a subject includes: a moisture measuring unit that is held in an armpit of a subject so as to measure a moisture content of the subject, the moisture measuring unit including measurement current supply electrode portions and voltage measurement electrode portions that make contact with a skin surface of the armpit; and a temperature measuring unit that is held in the armpit of the subject so as to measure the temperature of the subject.

Disclosed herein are an apparatus for producing liposomes and a method of producing liposomes by which it is made possible to produce liposomes under sterile conditions during the manufacturing process while monitoring in line the particle diameter of liposomes. The apparatus for producing liposomes includes a unit for regulating the particle diameter of liposomes, a supply flow channel for supplying the particle diameter regulating unit with a solution under processing containing a liposome-forming lipid, and a discharge flow channel for discharging from the particle diameter regulating unit a solution under processing containing liposomes, the supply flow channel having an input port through which the solution under processing containing the liposome-forming lipid is put into the supply flow channel, wherein the discharge flow channel has a first light transmitting part at least a portion of which is made of material transparent to light, and also has at least a first light transmittance measuring unit which measures the light transmittance of the solution under processing containing liposomes by directing light to the first light-transmitting part from the outside of the first light-transmitting part. Apparatus for producing liposomes and method of producing liposomes

A liposome preparation is provided. This liposome preparation is capable of stably encapsulating a drug which is unstable under an acidic condition, and such stable encapsulation is realized without detracting the effect realized by the modification of the membrane by a hydrophilic macromolecule such as stability in blood. More specifically, the liposome preparation comprises a unilamellar vesicle formed from a lipid bilayer comprising a phospholipid as its main membrane component, and an interior aqueous phase of the vesicle at a pH of up to 5. The liposome has a drug loaded therein, and the vesicle is modified with a hydrophilic macromolecule only on its exterior surface.

Liposome preparation

Provided is an irinotecan formulation capable of supporting irinotecan and/or a salt thereof in a closed vesicle carrier at a high concentration and existing in blood for a long period of time by dramatically improved retentivity in blood compared to a conventionally known irinotecan liposome formulation. That is, an irinotecan formulation including a closed vesicle formed by a lipid membrane, in which irinotecan and/or a salt thereof is encapsulated at a concentration of at least 0.07 mol/mol (drug mol/membrane total lipid mol). There is an ion gradient between an inner aqueous phase and an outer aqueous phase in the irinotecan formulation. The closed vesicle is preferably liposome, in which only the outer surface of the liposome is preferably modified with a surface-modifying agent containing a hydrophilic polymer.
