A recording device includes: a storage unit configured to store a medium, a recording unit configured to dispense a liquid droplet onto the medium transported from the storage unit to perform recording, a discharge unit configured to discharge the medium on which recording was performed and an imaging unit disposed on a transport path running from the storage unit, past the recording unit, to the discharge unit, the imaging unit being configured to capture an image of the medium on which recording was performed, where a restricting wall narrowing a space above the medium on the transport path is provided between the recording unit and the imaging unit.

Recording device

A printing apparatus includes a printing unit configured to print on a medium, a cutting unit configured to cut the medium, and an accommodating unit configured to accommodate cutting waste, in which the cutting unit is configured to cut the medium at a boundary between a downstream margin that is an area between a second end that is a downstream end of the medium and a print area, and the print area, and is configured to cut the medium at a boundary between an upstream margin that is an area between a first end that is an upstream end of the medium and the print area, and the print area, and gaps communicating with the accommodating unit are configured upstream and downstream of a position in which the medium is cut by the cutting unit in the transport path.

Printing apparatus

A recording apparatus includes a printing unit that performs a recording on a sheet, a third sheet feed unit that mounts a roll body on which the sheet is wound in a roll shape, unwinds the sheet from the roll body, and supplies the sheet to the printing unit, and a pressing portion that presses the roll body mounted on the third sheet feed unit, in which the pressing portion presses the mounted roll body in a direction opposite to a direction of taking out the roll body from the third sheet feed unit.

Recording apparatus

A recording apparatus includes a printing unit that performs a recording on a first cut sheet, a sheet feed tray on which the first cut sheet is mounted, a sheet feed roller that transport the first cut sheet in a transport direction from the sheet feed tray toward the printing unit, a transport roller disposed downstream of the sheet feed roller in the transport direction and that holds the first cut sheet with a driven roller to transport the first cut sheet in the transport direction, and a single motor that drives the sheet feed roller and the transport roller, in which when the sheet feed roller and the transport roller are simultaneously driven by the single motor, a transport speed of the first cut sheet by the sheet feed roller is configured to be higher than a transport speed of the first cut sheet by the transport roller.

A transport device includes a medium carrying unit on which a medium having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface is superposedly wound in a cylindrical shape so as to form a roll body, the second surface being oriented so as to form an inner circumferential surface in the roll body, a route defining portion fixed in a curved shape so as to guide the medium such that the second surface is oriented to the inner side of the curve, and a slave roller that nips the medium in collaboration with a transport roller so as to deform the medium such that the second surface becomes oriented to the outer side of the curve, the slave roller being located downstream of the route defining portion in the transport direction of the medium.

Transport device and recording apparatus

A liquid ejection device includes a first rolled medium accommodation unit, a second rolled medium accommodation unit and a liquid ejection head. The first rolled medium accommodation unit is configured to accommodate a rolled medium. The second rolled medium accommodation unit is configured to accommodate the rolled medium, the second rolled medium accommodation unit being movable. The liquid ejection head is configured to eject an ink as a liquid onto a medium supplied by unwound from the rolled medium accommodated in one of the first rolled medium accommodation unit and the second rolled medium accommodation unit.

Liquid ejection device

A rolled medium accommodation device includes a rolled medium accommodation unit which swings around a first shaft, a lever member which swings around a second shaft in conjunction with swinging of the rolled medium accommodation unit, a shaft member capable of moving in a direction intersecting an axial direction of the second shaft, and urging unit configured to apply rotational torque around the second shaft to the lever member. Due to the rotational torque, the rolled medium accommodation unit is subjected to force whereby the rolled medium accommodation unit is swung in a direction opposite that of gravity around the first shaft from a low position to a high position higher than the low position, and the shaft member moves so that the distance between a center of the shaft member and a center of the second shaft is greater in the high position than in the low position.
