To provide a fluorinated copolymer composition capable of forming a crosslinked rubber having favorable rubber properties and excellent metal adhesion, and a metal rubber laminate using the crosslinked rubber. A fluorinated copolymer composition comprising a copolymer having units based on tetrafluoroethylene and units based on propylene, a copolymer having units based on tetrafluoroethylene and units based on a perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether), or a copolymer having units based on hexafluoropropylene and units based on vinylidene fluoride, hydrophilic silica, and an acid acceptor.

Fluorinated copolymer composition and metal rubber laminate

To provide a laminate excellent in alkali resistance and interlaminar strength at high temperature, and a process for producing the laminate. A process for producing a laminate, comprising producing a non-crosslinked laminate having a layer of a first composition containing a copolymer having fluorine atoms and a layer of a second composition containing a non-fluorinated elastic polymer, and crosslinking the first composition and the second composition to produce a laminate having a first layer formed of a crosslinked product of the first composition and a second layer formed of a crosslinked product of the second composition, wherein when the first composition and the second composition contains a common crosslinking aid, the absolute value of the crosslinking rate difference between the first composition and the second composition is at most 0.30.

Process for producing laminate, and laminate

To provide a fluorinated elastic copolymer excellent in adhesion, processability, mechanical properties, heat resistance and chemical resistance. A fluorinated elastic copolymer having units based on a monomer (a), units based on a monomer (b) and optionally units based on a monomer (c), which has an iodine atom bonded to a terminal of a molecular chain and the unit based on the monomer (b) adjacent to the iodine atom, and which has a proportion of the units based on the monomer (b) of from 0.09 to 2.0 mol % to all units. Monomer (a): monomer selected from the group consisting of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene, vinylidene fluoride, chlorotrifluoroethylene, a perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) and 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene; monomer (b): a monomer having at least one type of functional group selected from the group consisting of an epoxy group, a hydroxy group, a carbonyl group-containing group and an isocyanate group; monomer (c): a monomer selected from the group consisting of ethylene and propylene.

Fluorinated elastic copolymer, and method for producing fluorinated elastic copolymer

To provide a fluorinated elastic copolymer capable of obtaining a crosslinked rubber which is excellent in tensile strength and has a low compression set under high temperature conditions; a method for producing such a fluorinated elastic copolymer; a crosslinked rubber; and a method for producing such a crosslinked rubber. A fluorinated elastic copolymer having structural units based, respectively, on monomers (a), (b) and (c), and further having iodine atoms. Monomer (a): at least one member selected from the group consisting of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene, vinylidene fluoride, chlorotrifluoroethylene and perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether). Monomer (b): at least one member selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by formula (I): CRR&#x2550;CR&#x2014;R&#x2014;CR&#x2550;CRR(I) (wherein R, R, R, R, Rand Rare each independently a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom or a methyl group; and Ris a Cperfluoroalkylene group which may have an etheric oxygen atom inserted between carbon atoms). Monomer (c): at least one member selected from the group consisting of ethylene and propylene.

Fluorinated elastic copolymer, method for its production, crosslinked rubber and method for its production

To provide a fluororubber molded article which is inexpensive and excellent in fuel barrier properties against an alcohol-containing fuel. A fluororubber molded article obtained by molding and crosslinking a cross-linkable composition comprising a fluoroelastomer (A) and a fluoroelastomer (B), wherein the fluoroelastomer (A) is a copolymer comprising tetrafluoroethylene units and perfluorovinyl ether units represented by CF&#x2550;CF&#x2014;O&#x2014;R(Ris a Cperfluoroalkyl group or a Cperfluoroalkyl group having an etheric oxygen atom between carbon atoms), the fluoroelastomer (B) is a copolymer comprising tetrafluoroethylene units, propylene units and vinylidene fluoride units, and the mass ratio of (A)/(B) is from 99/1 to 30/70.
