A wireless transmission system is provided that can minimize the control command transmission amount by operating a plurality of sink devices in conjunction with each other with respect to each group. The wireless transmission system includes: a bridge device () which wireless-transmits an AV content; and a plurality of wireless sink devices () which reproduce the wireless-transmitted AV content. The bridge device () has a group identification table which stores a group identifier for identifying a group formed by the wireless sink device (). The bridge device () adds a group identifier extracted from the group identification table to a control command for controlling the sink devices () and wireless-transmits the control command having the group identifier. The wireless sink devices () receive a control command wireless-transmitted from the bridge device () if a corresponding group identifier is added to the control command.

Wireless transmission system, relay device, wireless sink device, and wireless source device

When reproducing AV data transmitted from a source device by multicast wireless transmission, a sink device can check the wireless connection status of other sink device which reproduces AV data from the same source device. The sink device () includes: an AV reception portion which receives AV data through multicast wireless transmission from the source device (); a reproduction portion which extracts and reproduces AV data transmitted to the sink device () from the received AV data; and a device information receiving portion that wirelessly receives a portion or whole of the sink device information managed in the source device (). The sink device information correlates identification information for identifying a plurality of sink devices (, . . . ) containing the sink device () with state information indicative of wireless connection status of the sink devices (, . . . ).

Sink device and wireless transmission system

Disclosed is a wireless transmission system provided with: a sink device which, when AV data transmitted by means of multicast wireless transmission from a source device is reproduced, performs reproduction control in accordance with the wireless connection state of another sink device that reproduces the AV data from the same source device; and the source device which is capable of determining the wireless connection state and the reproduction control state of the sink device. When the AV data obtained by means of multicast wireless transmission from the source device () is reproduced, the sink device () acquires state information indicating the wireless connection state of the other sink device and adjusts reproduction control for the AV data of the actual sink device () in accordance with this state information. The source device () acquires information on the wireless connection state and the reproduction control state of each sink device and stops or restarts transmission of the AV data on the basis of this information.

Provided is a wireless transmission system which can transmit data accompanying video/audio by a different transmission method depending on the characteristic of the data in a wireless transmission environment where the transmission band is narrow and a transmission error is easily caused. The wireless transmission system includes: a wireless receiver () connected to a sink device (); and a wireless transmitter () connected to a source device (). A wireless communication is performed between the wireless receiver () and the wireless transmitter () so that video and audio are outputted from the source device () to the sink device (). The wireless receiver () and/or the wireless transmitter () categorizes the data accompanying the video and the audio in accordance with the characteristic thereof and transmits the accompanying data by using a different transmission method depending on the categorization.

Wireless transmission system, device and method for efficiently transmitting associated data

To provide a contents distribution system, a contents server and a contents distribution method that do not need a layout operation at the time of distribution of contents and that enable a check of the content of image data that is hard to browse. When distribution of contents is requested from a contents display terminal to a contents server, a contents distribution server obtains the classification of the contents display terminal, and obtains text data and image letter data corresponding to a font size of terminal information via the contents management server. The contents distribution server couples the obtained image letter data and text data to generate a contents page, and distributes the contents page to the contents display terminal.

Content delivery system, content server, and content delivery method

An input voice signal is passed from a voice signal encoding unit to a voice signal compressing unit so that it is encoded and compressed. No transmission of a silence signal within the voice signal to a multiplexing unit is performed in a silence signal eliminating unit. A multiplexing unit multiplexes the voice signal with a data to be transmitted which has been passed via a data terminal control unit and a data terminal control unit from a data terminal and is transmitted to a communication line via the transmission control unit. Lapse of a time-out period of time which is present in a timer is detected in a silence signal inserting unit so that a silence signal is generated and is reproduced in a voice signal decompressing unit and a voice signal decoding unit.
