A pressure sensitive sensor includes: a first conductive member formed into a long shape, the first conductive member having conductivity and elasticity; a second conductive member internally including a long space to arrange the first conductive member, the second conductive member having conductivity and elasticity; and an insulating member having an insulating property and elasticity, the insulating member holding the first conductive member to separate the first conductive member from the second conductive member, the insulating member being movable relative to one or both of the first conductive member and the second conductive member.

Pressure sensitive sensor with conducting members and an insulating member

A stretchable cable is provided that allows an extra length to be reduced when routed in a movable part. The stretchable cable includes an elastically deformable hollow insulation having a hollow portion that is continuous along a cable longitudinal direction, and at least one electricity- or light-conducting wire-shaped body provided in a spiral shape along the cable longitudinal direction and fixed to the hollow insulation to stretch and contract together with the hollow insulation. The cable is elongated not less than 1.2 times when a tensile force is applied, and the cable returns to an original length when the tensile force is removed.

Stretchable cable

A method configured to produce a pressure-sensitive sensor composed of a cylindrical-shape body including therein a hollow portion along a longitudinal direction of that sensor, and being made of an elastic electrical insulating member, and a plurality of electrode wires arranged helically along an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical-shape body and arranged in such a manner as to have no contact with each other. The method includes, with an extruder with a head, extrusion-molding the cylindrical-shape body while running the plurality of electrode wires into that head in such a manner that a periphery of the plurality of electrode wires is coated with the cylindrical-shape body, and taking up the cylindrical-shape body and the plurality of electrode wires ejected from the extruder while rotating the cylindrical-shape body and the plurality of electrode wires in a circumferential direction of the sensor, to thereby helically arrange the plurality of electrode wires.

Method and device for producing pressure sensitive sensor

A method for manufacturing a pressure-sensitive sensor includes providing an extruder that includes a cylindrical die, a mandrel arranged inside the die and having plural helical grooves on an outer circumferential surface, and an annular outlet sandwiched between the die and the mandrel, and by using the extruder, performing simultaneous extrusion-molding of an elastic insulating material and an elastic conductive material by supplying the elastic conductive material into not less than two of the grooves from the inside of the mandrel while extruding the elastic insulating material, so as to form a pressure-sensitive sensor. The sensor includes a tubular body including an elastic insulation and having a hollow portion along a longitudinal direction, and not less than two conductive ribs including an elastic conductor and helically provided along an inner circumferential surface of the hollow portion of the tubular body so as to protrude inward from the inner circumferential surface.

Method for manufacturing pressure-sensitive sensor, pressure-sensitive sensor manufacturing equipment, and pressure-sensitive sensor

A wire harness includes a multi-core cable including a group of cables composed of a plurality of cables, and a sheath provided around the group of cables, and a resin mold covering the group of cables at a cable branching portion where the group of cables exposed from an end of the sheath of the multi-core cable are branched. An outermost layer of each cable constituting the group of cables includes polyolefin or thermoplastic polyurethane. When the sheath includes polyolefins, the group of cables includes at least one cable including an outermost layer including thermoplastic polyurethane. When the sheath includes thermoplastic polyurethane, the group of cables includes at least one cable having an outermost layer comprising polyolefin. The resin mold includes a resin composition of a polymer alloy of a first polymer including at least one of polyamide polymer, polyester polymer, and thermoplastic polyurethane and a second polymer including polyolefin.

Wire harness and resin composition

A molded cable comprises a conductor, an insulation inner layer, an insulation outer layer, and a resin molded body. The insulation inner layer comprises a crosslinked ethylene resin composition and is provided an outer circumference of the conductor. The insulation outer layer comprises a crosslinked thermoplastic polyurethane composition and is provided on an outer circumference of the insulation inner layer. Arithmetic average roughness (Ra) of a surface of the insulation outer layer is 5 &#x3bc;m to 100 &#x3bc;m. The resin molded body coats an exposed end portion of the conductor and an end portion of the insulation outer layer at a side of the exposed end portion of the conductor. The resin molded body is fused to the insulation outer layer.

Molded wire and molded cable, and wire for molded wire and cable for molded cable

A pressure sensitive sensor is composed of a cylindrical shape body including therein an inner peripheral surface and a hollow portion along a longitudinal direction of that cylindrical shape body, and being made of an elastic electrical insulating member, and a plurality of electrode wires arranged in a helical shape along the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical shape body, and arranged in such a manner as to have no contact with each other. In the pressure sensitive sensor, in a cross-sectional view perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical shape body, at least some part of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical shape body lying between adjacent ones of the plurality of the electrode wires on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical shape body is formed in an inner side in radial directions of a circle passing through centers of the plurality of the electrode wires.

Pressure sensitive sensor

A pressure-sensitive sensor, includes a hollow tubular member including an elastic insulating material; and n electrode wires (n being an integer of not less than 3) arranged away from one another and held inside the tubular member, wherein when an external pressure is applied to the tubular member, the tubular member elastically deforms such that at least two of the n electrode wires contact with each other, and wherein the n electrode wires extend linearly and parallel to a central axis of the tubular member.

Pressure-sensitive sensor

A pressure-sensitive sensor includes a hollow tubular member including an elastic insulation, plural electrode wires spaced from one another and held on an inner circumferential surface of the tubular member, and helical ribs formed on at least one of inner and outer circumferential surfaces of the tubular member along a longitudinal direction thereof. The electrode wires are helically arranged along the longitudinal direction. A helical direction of the helical ribs of the tubular member is a same as a helical direction of the helically-arranged electrode wires.

Pressure-sensitive sensor including a hollow tubular member of an elastic insulation

A pressure-sensitive sensor includes a hollow tubular member including an elastic insulating material, and n electrode wires (n being an integer of not less than 3) arranged away from one another and held inside the tubular member. When an external pressure is applied to the tubular member, the tubular member elastically deforms such that at least two of the n electrode wires contact with each other. The n electrode wires extend linearly and parallel to a central axis of the tubular member.

Method of manufacturing a pressure-sensitive sensor

A pressure-sensitive sensor includes a long hollow insulation that is elastically deformable and includes a hollow portion extending continuously in a longitudinal direction, a plurality of electrode wires that are provided along the inner peripheral surface of the hollow portion throughout the longitudinal length and are arranged facing each other with a distance therebetween so as to come into contact with each other when bent with elastic deformation of the hollow insulation, each electrode wire being formed by providing a conductive cover around a conductor, and an outer layer formed to cover an outer surface of the hollow insulation. The hollow insulation includes an insulating composition (A) including a styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer (a1). The outer layer including an insulating composition (C) including a thermoplastic polyurethane (c1) and an acid-modified polymer (c2) that is modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof.

There is provided an elastomer composition having both of a flexibility and a wear resistance at a low temperature, while having a high conductivity, and containing an elastomer component (A) including styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer (a1) and propylene-based elastomer (a2); and containing 10 pts.mass or more and 100 pts.mass or less of a conductivity imparting agent (B), and 10 pts.mass or more and 300 pts.mass of less of a process oil (C) based on 100 pts.mass of the elastomer component (A).

Conductive elastomer composition and molded article of the same

A touch sensor includes a hollow tubular member that is elastic and insulative; and a first electrode wire and a second electrode wire held in the tubular member while being separated from each other. The first electrode wire and the second electrode wire contact with each other by elastic deformation when receiving an external pressure to the tubular member. The first electrode wire and the second electrode wire extend parallel to a central axis of the tubular member. A shape of a gap between the first electrode wire and the second electrode wire in a cross section orthogonal to the central axis of the tubular member is non-linear.
