A slot type optical cable includes: an optical fiber; a slot rod that includes a plurality of ribs forming a groove in which the optical fiber is accommodatable; and a cable jacket that is provided around the slot rod. The cable jacket includes a sheath portion that is formed around the slot rod at substantially the same thickness by linearly connecting outermost peripheral edges of adjacent ribs.

Slot-type optical cable

A concrete cask enabling suppression of occurrence of stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in a lid welded part of a canister. The concrete cask includes: a metal canister accommodating spent fuel; a concrete container body for accommodating the canister inside the container body; a cooling passage provided between the external peripheral surface of the canister and the internal peripheral surface of the container body, and allowing air for cooling the external peripheral surface of the canister to pass; and a top space provided between the top surface part of the canister, and the inside of a lid of the container body. Intermittent-connection-type optical fiber ribbon with thick and thin vertical lines and method for manufacturing

Provided is an optical fiber cable whereby macrobend loss can be suppressed even when ribbons are mounted at high density in grooves. An optical fiber cable provided with optical units in which ribbons each having a plurality of optical fiber cores arranged in parallel are collected, a slot rod having a plurality of grooves for accommodating optical units, a tension member on which tension is applied, and a cable jacket for covering the outside of the slot rod. Intermittent-connection-type optical fiber ribbon and optical cable

An optical fiber cable includes optical fiber ribbons of no less than 12, a slot rod including slot grooves in which the optical fiber ribbons are housed, a tension member, and a cable sheath. The optical fiber ribbons include, at a part of or through all of the optical fiber core wires, in a state where the optical fiber core wires are arranged in parallel, a connecting part where adjacent optical fiber core wires are connected and a non-connecting part where adjacent optical fiber core wires are not connected, which are provided intermittently in a longitudinal direction. There is provided a head mounted display comprising: an interface unit to which a cartridge can be connected; and at least one controller configured to activate a predetermined operation mode according to information acquired from the cartridge when the cartridge is connected to the interface unit.

Head mounted display

There is provided a head mounted display comprising: an interface unit configured to be connected with a cartridge; a determinator configured to determine whether the head mounted display is inside a specific area or not when the cartridge is connected to the interface unit; and at least one controller configured to execute, when the determinator determines that the head mounted display is inside the specific area, an application based on first data that is acquired from the cartridge, and to execute, when the determinator determines that the head mounted display is not inside the specific area, another application based on second data that is acquired from the cartridge.

In one aspect, a head-mounted display includes displays, a front portion formed in such a manner as to surround at least a part of peripheral portions of the displays, and at least one temple portion connected to the front portion. An interface capable of connecting a cartridge thereto is provided in the at least one temple portion.

Head-mounted display

A head-mounted display includes an interface capable of connecting thereto a cartridge of which a return condition is recorded, and a controller configured to determine whether, when the cartridge is connected to the interface, the return condition has been satisfied. When it is determined that the return condition has been satisfied, the controller is configured to execute notification for requesting a user to return the cartridge.

An optical fiber cable comprises optical units having a plurality of optical fiber ribbons, a slot rod having a plurality of slot grooves in which the optical units are accommodated, and a cable sheath configured to cover an outer side of the slot rod, each of the optical fiber ribbons is intermittently provided with coupling portions, at which adjacent optical fibers are coupled therebetween, and non-coupling portions, at which adjacent optical fibers are not coupled therebetween, in a longitudinal direction between a part or all of the optical fibers in a state where the plurality of optical fibers is arranged in parallel, and an outer diameter of the optical fiber cable is 35 mm or less and a number of the optical fibers in the optical unit accommodated in one slot groove is 100 or more.

This optical fiber cable comprises an optical unit obtained by creating strands of a plurality of optical fiber tape cores, a tube in which the optical unit is housed, and a cable sheath that covers the outside of an aggregate of a plurality of tubes. The optical fiber tape cores have provided thereto, between some or all of optical fiber cores when a plurality of optical fiber cores are positioned in parallel, and intermittently in the longitudinal direction thereof, connecting parts that connect adjoining optical fiber cores, and non-connecting parts at which adjoining optical fiber cores are not connected. The tube has a Young's modulus lower than the Young's modulus of the cable sheath, and the aggregate is such that the plurality of tubes on the inside of the cable sheath deform elastically with respect to one another, with some thereof being in surface contact with the cable sheath.

An optical fiber cord includes an optical fiber cord main body with a round sectional form, the optical fiber cord main body including a core which has an optical fiber ribbon in which N (N is an even number of 4 or larger) coated optical fibers are arranged in parallel, and a sheath which covers the core. In the optical fiber ribbon, connected parts and non-connected parts are intermittently formed in a longitudinal direction between the adjacent coated optical fibers.
