An object of the present invention is to provide clinically applicable aAVC-NY-ESO-1 cells stably expressing NY-ESO-1 in order to use aAVC-NY-ESO-1 cells in treating patients having a NY-ESO-1-expressing cancer. The present invention provides, for example, a human-derived cell comprising a polynucleotide encoding CD1d and a polynucleotide encoding NY-ESO-1 or a fragment thereof, wherein the polynucleotide encoding NY-ESO-1 or a fragment thereof is operably linked to an inducible promoter.

[Problem to be Solved] Provided is an effective and safe method for treating or preventing a cancer using aAVC. [Solution] The present invention finds suitable ranges of the dose of &#x3b1;-GalCer loaded on aAVC cell surface, and the amount of &#x3b1;-GalCer loaded on aAVC cell surface in a pharmaceutical composition comprising aAVC, which are preferred in terms of securing effectiveness and safety in the treatment and prevention of a cancer using aAVC, and provides an effective and safe method for treating or preventing a cancer using aAVC, aAVC for effective and safe treatment or prevention of a cancer, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same, etc.

Method for treating cancer using artificial adjuvant cell (aAVC)

A composition comprising the following composition: an AD vehicle including a synthetic peptide and a lipid, wherein the synthetic peptide includes the amino acid sequence KnLm (wherein n is 4 to 8 and m is 11 to 20), a carboxylvinyl polymer and an RSV antigen. The composition has an antibody producing ability which is further higher than that of a conventional mucosal vaccine, hence capable of exerting excellent anti-virus antigen-specific IgA antibody- and IgG antibody-inducing effect in the nasal wash and the serum, respectively, even with an extremely small quantity of an RSV antigen.

A compound useful as an antifungal agent, particularly a therapeutic agent for deep-seated mycoses, is provided. A funguswas collected, and cyclic compounds were isolated from culture liquids thereof. The present inventors confirmed that the cyclic compounds or salts thereof have a potent antifungal activity and are useful as medicaments, particularly an antifungal agent, and thus the present invention was completed. The cyclic compound and the salt thereof according to the present invention can be used as an agent for preventing or treating mycoses, particularly deep-seated mycoses.
