The present disclosure relates to a secondary battery module including a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and an elastic body. The elastic body has a compressive elastic modulus of 5 MPa to 120 MPa. The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a positive electrode and a negative electrode. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode collector containing Ti as a main component and having a thickness of 1 &#x3bc;m to 8 &#x3bc;m. The negative electrode includes a first layer and a second layer sequentially formed from a side with the negative electrode collector. The first layer contains negative electrode active material particles containing first carbon-based active material particles with a 10% proof stress of 3 MPa or less. The second layer contains negative electrode active material particles containing second carbon-based active material particles with a 10% proof stress of 5 MPa or greater.

Nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and secondary battery module

A lithium-ion secondary battery includes at least a negative electrode, a positive electrode, and an electrolyte solution. The negative electrode includes at least negative electrode active material particles. Each of the negative electrode active material particles contains at least a SiOparticle and a Si layer. The Si layer covers a surface of the SiOparticle. The Si layer has a thickness not smaller than 10 nm and not greater than 100 nm. A lithium-ion secondary battery includes at least a negative electrode, a positive electrode, and an electrolyte. The negative electrode includes at least a negative electrode active material and a polymer binder. The negative electrode active material includes at least a graphitic material and a silicon oxide material. The amount of acidic functional groups per unit surface area of graphitic material is not lower than 0.017 mmol/mand not higher than 0.086 mmol/m. A polymer binder contains a carboxy group. Polymer binder has a main chain with a length not smaller than 0.53 &#x3bc;m and not greater than 2.13 &#x3bc;m.

Provided is a method for producing a negative electrode by using a negative electrode active material and ceramic particles, the method ensuring satisfactory coatability of the paste and high peel strength and hardness of the obtained negative electrode active material layer. The method for producing a negative electrode disclosed herein includes a step of coating a negative electrode paste including a negative electrode active material and ceramic particles on a negative electrode current collector; a step of drying the coated negative electrode paste to form a negative electrode active material layer; and a step of pressing the negative electrode active material layer. The ceramic particles have an aspect ratio of 1.5 or more and 20 or less. The ceramic particles have a short side length of &#x2155; or less of an average particle diameter of the negative electrode active material. In the negative electrode paste, the ceramic particles are contained in an amount of 3% by mass to 20% by mass based on a total solid content of the negative electrode paste.

Method for producing negative electrode and secondary battery, and secondary battery

A negative electrode active material particle includes natural graphite and a coating. The surface of the natural graphite is coated with the coating. The coating contains low crystalline carbon and fluorine. The low crystalline carbon has lower crystallinity than the natural graphite and a structure in which carbon hexagonal net planes are layered in a portion of the low crystalline carbon. The peak of CF2 bonds is detected by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy of the negative electrode active material particle, and the fluorine concentration of the surface of the negative electrode active material particle is 10 atm % or more and 20 atm % or less.

Negative electrode active material particle, negative electrode, lithium-ion secondary battery, and production method of negative electrode active material particle

Negative electrode active material particles for a lithium ion secondary battery include base material particles and a coating. The coating covers a surface of the base material particles. The base material particles contain a first carbon material. The coating contains lithium titanate and a second carbon material. When a ratio of an intensity of a D band to an intensity of a G band in a laser Raman spectrum is set as an R value, the second carbon material has a larger R value than the first carbon material.

Negative electrode active material particles for lithium ion secondary battery and method of producing the same

The negative electrode plate includes at least a negative electrode composite material layer. The negative electrode composite material layer has a density of 1.5 g/cmor more. The negative electrode composite material layer contains at least first particles, second particles and a binder. The first particles contain graphite particles and an amorphous carbon material. The amorphous carbon material is coated on the surface of each graphite particle. The second particles are made of silicon oxide.
