Provided are a resonator and a filter that exhibit preferable characteristics. This resonator has: a via electrode which is formed within a dielectric substrate; a plurality of shielded conductors which are formed in the dielectric substrate so as to surround the via electrode; and a strip line which is connected to the via electrode inside the dielectric substrate and which is disposed so as to at least face the shielded conductors, wherein, of the plurality of shielded conductors, one that is connected to a short-circuited end of the via electrode is capacitatively coupled, across a spacing, to a first input/output terminal and a second input/output terminal.

Resonator and filter

The present invention provides a small-sized filter which has good characteristics. A filter according to the present invention comprises: a resonator which has a via electrode part that is formed within a dielectric substrate and a first strip line that is connected to one end of the via electrode part, while facing a first shielding conductor among a plurality of shielding conductors that are formed so as to surround the via electrode part; an input/output terminal which is coupled to a second shielding conductor among the plurality of shielding conductors; and a first capacitor electrode pattern which is coupled to the input/output terminal. The first capacitor electrode pattern is capacitively coupled to the first strip line or a second capacitor electrode pattern that is connected to the via electrode part.

Filter

Provided is a filter capable of suppressing variation in characteristics. A filter has: a plurality of resonators each having a via electrode and a first strip line that is opposed to a first shielding conductor and connected to one end of the via electrode; a first coupling capacitive electrode that has a first comb-shaped electrode including a plurality of first electrodes and that is provided to the first resonator; and a second coupling capacitive electrode that is provided to the second resonator, that has a second comb-shaped electrode including a plurality of second electrodes, and that is formed on the same layer as that of the first coupling capacitive electrode, wherein the first and second electrodes are arranged so as to be adjacent to each other.

Provided are a resonator having a good Q value and a filter using the resonator. The resonator has: a via electrode portion formed inside a dielectric substrate; a plurality of shielding conductors formed on the dielectric substrate to surround the via electrode portion; a first strip line which is connected to one end of the via electrode portion in the dielectric substrate and faces a first shielding conductor among the plurality of shielding conductors; and a second strip line which is connected to the other end of the via electrode portion in the dielectric substrate and faces a second shielding conductor among the plurality of shielding conductors.

The present invention provides a compact filter with excellent characteristics. This filter has a plurality of resonators, each of which having: via electrode parts formed inside a dielectric substrate; and a first strip line that faces a first shielding conductor of a plurality of shielding conductors formed so as to surround the via electrode parts, the first strip line being connected to one end of the via electrode parts. The positions of the via electrode parts of the first resonator of the plurality of resonators, and the positions of the via electrode parts of the second resonator, which is adjacent to the first resonator, are mutually offset in a first direction (X), which is the longitudinal direction of the first strip line.
