A connector includes a contact retained in a housing selectively in one of a first posture and a second posture inverted 180 degrees around a fitting direction, the contact including a contact portion to be contacted with a contact of a counter connector and a connection portion to be connected to a flexible conductor of a connection object, between a case where the contact is retained in the housing in the first posture and a case where the contact is retained in the housing in the second posture, the contact portion is situated at a same position with respect to the housing and the connection portion is situated at a different position with respect to the housing, the contact being retained in the housing in, of the first posture and the second posture, a posture corresponding to an orientation of a flexible conductor exposed surface of the connection object.

Connector and connecting method

A connector comprises a plurality of terminals and a housing. The housing has an interposing portion extends in an up-down direction. The interposing portion has a first side portion and a second side portion in a width direction perpendicular to the up-down direction. Each of the terminals has an insertion end portion and a second extending portion. The second side portion has an allowance portion and a restriction portion. The allowance portion is nearer to the insertion end portion than the restriction portion in the up-down direction. The connector has a gap between the allowance portion and the second extending portion in the width direction. The allowance portion allows partial movement of the second extending portion into the gap. The restriction portion is in contact with the second extending portion in the width direction without any gap and thereby restricts movement of the second extending portion in the width direction.

Connector and connector assembly

A connector comprises a housing, a plurality of terminals and a plurality of coupling portions. The terminals form two terminal rows. In each of the two terminal rows, the terminals are arranged in a pitch direction perpendicular to a width direction. The terminals of one of the two terminal rows respectively correspond to the terminals of a remaining one of the two terminal rows. Each of the terminals has a press-fit portion, a supporting portion, a contact point and a coupled portion. The supporting portion extends from the press-fit portion. The coupled portion extends from the contact point. Each of the coupling portions is made of insulator. Each of the coupling portions couples the coupled portion of the terminal of the one of the terminal rows with the coupled portion of the corresponding terminal of the remaining one of the terminal rows in a direction perpendicular to the pitch direction.

Provided is a survey method using a position acquiring device that acquires position coordinates of a worker and a mobile terminal capable of communicating with the position acquiring device. the mobile terminal sets an advancing direction of observation and a first measurement point in three-dimensional design data, and makes the position acquiring device acquire position coordinates of the worker, the mobile terminal guides the worker to the first measurement point, makes the position acquiring device acquire position coordinates of the worker at the first measurement point, and sets a point nearest from the first measurement point in the advancing direction as a second measurement point, and after that, a position of the worker, setting of a next measurement point, and guidance to the next measurement point are repeated.

Survey method, mobile terminal, survey system, and storage medium

A connector is mountable on a board and is mateable with a mating connector which comprises a mating terminal. The connector comprises a terminal held by a holding member. The terminal has a first support portion which is resiliently deformable, a primary contact point supported by the first support portion, a second support portion which extends from the primary contact point and is resiliently deformable, and a pressed portion supported by the second support portion. The pressed portion is movable in an upper-lower direction (Z-direction) and a width direction (Y-direction). When the connector is mated with the mating connector, the primary contact point is brought into contact with the mating terminal and is moved in the width direction. When the connector is under a mated state where the connector is mated with the mating connector, the pressed portion is pressed against the board in the upper-lower direction.

Removal of substrates in a composite substrate is facilitated, and flaking of the composite substrate in an unintended process is prevented. A method for manufacturing a composite substrate includes: forming a first bonding material in a first surface of a first substrate; forming, in the first surface, at least one groove located more inward than a periphery in a plan view of the first substrate; forming the first bonding material along an inner wall of the at least one groove, the first bonding material not filling into space enclosed by the inner wall of the at least one groove; forming a second bonding material on a second surface of a second substrate; and bonding the first bonding material and the second bonding material together in a region except the at least one groove.

Method for manufacturing composite substrate, and composite substrate

First terminals and second terminals are alternately arranged in the pitch direction. The first terminal has a first mount portion, and the second terminal has a second mount portion. Each of the supporting portions is resiliently deformable at least in part and extends from the first contact portion to support the second contact portion. The second contact portion of each of the first terminals and the second terminals faces the first contact portion in a width direction and is movable in the width direction due to resilient deformation of the supporting portion. In the second terminal, the extension portion extends from the second contact portion, and the second mount portion is formed in a part of the extension portion. The second mount portion is located apart from the first mount portion in the width direction.

A connector assembly comprises a mating connector and a connector which is configured to be mounted on an object. The mating connector is mateable from above with the connector which is positioned below the mating connector in an up-down direction. The connector comprises a housing and a terminal. The terminal has a fixed portion, a held portion, a coupling portion, a supporting portion and a contact point. The coupling portion couples the fixed portion and the held portion with each other. The coupling portion has a receiving portion. The supporting portion extends from the held portion and is resiliently deformable. The supporting portion has an abutment portion. The abutment portion is positioned above the receiving portion in the up-down direction. The abutment portion is in contact with the receiving portion under a mated state where the connector and the mating connector are mated with each other.

Provided is a surveying assistance method comprising making a computer read design information including center point data of center points set on a centerline of a route and constituent point data of constituent points set on sections including the center points, the section being orthogonal to the centerline, acquires position information indicating a current position of a surveyed device at a predetermined period, calculate a horizontal distance and a vertical distance between the current position and a reference point on a designated section based on the position information and the design information, display the horizontal distance and the vertical distance on a screen of the computer as survey information, and update the display at intervals of the predetermined period, and the reference point is a point to be selected from the center points or the constituent points.

A connector is mateable with a mating connector. The connector comprises a housing and a terminal. The terminal has an arm, a contact portion and a held portion held by a holding portion of the housing. The arm couples the held portion and the contact portion to each other and supports the contact portion so that the contact portion is movable. The contact portion has a bottom portion, a first support portion, a second support portion, a first contact point and a second contact point. Each of the first support portion and the second support portion extends upward from the bottom portion. The first contact point is supported by the first support portion. The second contact point is supported by the second support portion. Under a mated state, a mating terminal of the mating connector is sandwiched and held between the first contact point and the second contact point.

A connector is mounted on a circuit board when used. The connector has a housing and a terminal which has a held portion, a supporting portion, a coupling portion, a contact portion and a guiding portion. The coupling portion has a fulcrum. The guiding portion receives a vertical force from a mating terminal at a specific contact location. The guiding portion receives, at the specific contact location, a frictional force caused by friction between the mating terminal and the guiding portion upon movement of the mating terminal on the guiding portion. An action line of a combined force of the vertical force and the frictional force intersects with one of the circuit board and the housing at a reference point. The fulcrum is positioned beyond the reference point in a first orientation of a first horizontal direction.

A connector assembly comprises a connector and a mating connector mateable with each other. The mating connector comprises a mating lock member having a mating lock portion. The connector comprises a holding member and a lock member. The holding member has a holding portion and a stop portion. The lock member has a held portion and a lock portion. The held portion is held by the holding portion. The lock portion is located below the mating lock portion and faces the mating lock portion in the upper-lower direction under the mated state. The coupling portion has an abutment portion. An electronic equipment comprises a case and a connector which is attached to the case. The connector comprises a housing and a waterproofing member. The waterproofing member is sandwiched by a mating connector and a side portion of the housing in a second direction when the connector is mated with the mating connector. The waterproofing member has at least one first contact portion, at least one second contact portion, at least one third contact portion and at least one fourth contact portion. The third contact portion is pressed against the side portion in the second direction by elasticity of the waterproofing member upon the mating of the connector with the mating connector. The fourth contact portion is pressed against and in contact with the mating connector in the second direction by the elasticity of the waterproofing member upon the mating of the connector with the mating connector.
