An information processing apparatus comprises a first circuitry and a second circuitry. The first circuitry first/second demand response requests from first/second communication devices. The second circuitry creates first request content information representing contents of the first demand response request, sends it to a time-stamping authority, and acquires first time certification information containing a time stamp that the time-stamping authority issues for the first demand response request. The second circuitry stores the first time certification information in a storage device to be associates with the first demand response request; and determine, when the second demand response request is received, whether the second demand response request is retransmission of the first demand response request. When it is the retransmission, the second circuitry causes the first circuitry to send the second demand response request and the first time certification information associated with it in the storage device, to a second communication device.

A power-saving control apparatus includes a memory storing first to Nth different authentication codes, determines, every time a signal including an authentication code is received, whether the authentication code in the received signal is a valid code which matches one of the authentication codes in the memory, outputs an operation signal to a main apparatus when the authentication code in the received signal is determined to be the valid code, and generates a new authentication code, when (a) the number of times the authentication code in each received signal matches a first authentication code of the authentication codes in the memory is equal to a predetermined value or (b) the authentication code in the received signal matches a second or subsequent authentication code of the authentication codes in the memory, to delete one of the authentication codes in the memory, and to store the new authentication code in the memory.

Power saving control apparatus and method

According to one embodiment, a communication device includes a clock to measure time, communication circuitry and processing circuitry. The communication circuitry transmits a request signal to the other communication device in a certain cycle, and receives a response signal transmitted in response to the request signal, from the other communication device. The processing circuitry changes a transmission timing of the request signal; compares first round-trip delay time with second round-trip delay time; and if a result of comparison shows that the second round-trip delay time is shorter than the first round-trip delay time, adjusts the time measured by the clock using a transmission time point of the second request signal and the reception time point of the second request signal in the other communication device, and the transmission time point of the second response signal from the other communication device and a reception time point of the second response signal.

There is provided a data collecting device configured to collect data from a plurality of nodes. An inquiry transmitting unit transmits inquiry messages to request transmission of the data to the nodes, respectively. A response receiving unit receives response messages including the data from the nodes, respectively. A reception scheduler generates a reception schedule of the response messages from the nodes based on request information indicating data collection condition from the nodes. A transmission scheduler generates a transmission schedule of the inquiry messages based on the reception schedule and characteristics of communication with the nodes. The inquiry transmitting unit transmits the inquiry messages to the nodes, respectively, based on the transmission schedule.

A main memory data rewriting device includes a rewrite condition analysis unit configured to analyze a rewrite condition for target data in main memory data stored in a main memory before deactivation of an information processing device, and create a first processing content to acquire environment data substituting the target data from outside of the information processing device and a second processing content to rewrite the target data to the environment data, an environment data processing unit configured to acquire the environment data according to the first processing content when the information processing device is temporarily activated at an activation time set to rewrite the target data during a deactivating period of the information processing device, and a rewrite processing unit configured to rewrite a region of a nonvolatile storage medium in which the target data is stored with the environment data according to the second processing content.

A relay device is provided that includes a reception unit and a transmission unit. The reception unit receives a startup packet including a magic packet, a MAC address of controllable equipment, and a first ID for starting up the controllable equipment. The transmission unit transmits a first electric signal indicating the first ID to all link-downed Ethernet ports.

According to one embodiment, a scheduling apparatus sends queries to communication modules in buildings and receives facility information measured at monitor-control points from the communication modules. As for each communication module, a network address, a waiting time to receive the facility information after sending a query, and a connection with the monitor-control points, are stored. When a service request indicating at least one monitor-control point is received, queries each including the network address of a communication module connected with a monitor-control point indicated by the service request, are generated. A priority of each query is decided based on the waiting time corresponding to the communication module. Each query is added to a first send queue or a second send queue based on the priority. When queries are sent, a timing to send from the first send queue is same as or earlier than a timing to send from the second send queue.

A control device being a control device communicating with a controlled device to control the controlled device includes: a first memory to store first authentication information for authenticating the controlled device; a second memory to store second authentication information for making the controlled device authenticate itself; a determination unit to compare third authentication information sent from the controlled device for specifying the controlled device with the first authentication information; a calculator to perform calculation processing on the first authentication information or the third authentication information using the second authentication information to generate a calculated value; a transmitter to transmit, when the determination unit determines that the first authentication information and the third authentication information are the same, the calculated value to the controlled device; and a memory controller to update the first authentication information.

A control unit generates a signal to turn on an electrical apparatus when the second time duration reaches the first time duration, or when the clock time equals to the startup time. An HW arithmetic unit executes a predetermined arithmetic operation. An arithmetic-mode determining unit determines, based on an attribute or a content of data relating to processing that has requested the arithmetic operation, either a synchronous mode that executes the processing after waiting for completion of the arithmetic operation by an arithmetic circuit or an asynchronous mode that executes the processing without waiting for completion of the arithmetic operation by the arithmetic circuit, as an execution mode of the arithmetic operation. An arithmetic-process control unit controls the arithmetic operation by the arithmetic circuit according to the determined execution mode.
