A vibration damping device including a vibration-damping device main unit attached to a bracket from a lateral side by a second attachment member being fitted to opposed walls provided on widthwise opposite sides of the bracket. The bracket includes flexible latches extending from the respective opposed walls forward in a direction of attachment. The second attachment member includes outer recesses respectively opening onto surfaces overlapped with the respective opposed walls. Each latch has a slope portion sloping inward in a width direction of the bracket such that a distal end face of the latch is inserted in the corresponding outer recess. The distal end face of the latch is latched by a forward wall inner face of the outer recess, and displacement of the second attachment member relative to the bracket in a direction of dislodgment opposite to the direction of attachment is limited.

Vibration damping device

A vehicle body front structure includes left and right extension side mount members that are provided at rear ends of left and right bumper beam extensions of a front bumper beam and left and right front side frames whose front ends are coupled with the left and right extension side mount members, respectively. The vehicle body front structure further includes left and right gussets that are positioned on left and right corners between outer surfaces in a vehicle width direction of rear end portions of the left and right bumper beam extensions and the left and right extension side mount members, respectively. The left and right gussets are joined to the left and right bumper beam extensions, respectively. Strength of the left and right gussets is higher than strength of the left and right bumper beam extensions.

Vehicle body front structure

An antivibration device capable of attaining damping performance in a comparatively broad frequency band range is provided. In the antivibration device, between an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder, formed are a first liquid chamber, a second liquid chamber, and a third liquid chamber. There are provided a first orifice passage that makes the first liquid chamber and the second liquid chamber communicate with each other, and a second orifice passage that makes one of the first liquid chamber and the second liquid chamber and the third liquid chamber communicate with each other.

Antivibration device

There is provided a vehicle body front structure including left and right mounting brackets provided at the rear ends of left and right bumper beam extensions of a front bumper beam, and left and right frame side mounting members connecting the rear ends of the left and right mounting brackets. The left and right frame side mounting members are provided at the front ends of left and right front side frames. The left and right mounting brackets are formed into an almost L shape by horizontal plate-like left and right joint plate portions and vertical plate-like left and right flanges, and each of the left and right mounting brackets is located on at least one of the upper surface and the lower surface of each of the left and right bumper beam extensions.

A fluid-filled type vibration damping device including a resin bracket provided on an outside peripheral face of a second mounting member. The resin bracket includes a mating portion mated within a mating groove of the second mounting member opening in an outside peripheral face of the second mounting member, a mating tubular portion extending on the outside peripheral face of the second mounting member from the mating portion to one axial side, and a mounting portion which is formed at a distal end portion of the mating tubular portion on the one axial side and extends peripherally outward. A weight reducing space opens at a distal end face of the mating tubular portion on the one axial side while extending between an inside peripheral face of the mating tubular portion and the outside peripheral face of the second mounting member in a circumferential direction.
