When a state where a power-generation voltage of a vehicle AC power generator is the same as or lower than a predetermined voltage has continued for a predetermined time or longer, a power generation controller stops or disables a low-voltage protection circuit from performing its operation so that an unintentional voltage rise caused by the low-voltage protection circuit is prevented.

Power generation controller for vehicle AC power generator

Power generation control devices () of respective power generators () transmit conduction rates of field coils () of the respective power generators () to an external control device (), while the external control device () obtains an average value of the conduction rates, obtains a field duty limiting command value for limiting the conduction rate of the field coil () determined by the power generation control device () based on the average value, and transmits the field duty limiting command value to the power generation control device (). With this operation, the power generation control device () limits power generation amounts of the respective power generators () based on the command value, to thereby equalize the power generation amounts of the respective power generators ().

To provide a generator controller can determine permission of power generation autonomously within a range where startability is not deteriorated, even in the case where the generator controller cannot communicate with the engine controller. A generator controller, in case of communication normal time with engine controller, permits the generation voltage control when the permission command signal is received from the engine controller and the generator rotational speed is higher than a determination value at communication normal time, and prohibits the generation voltage control at other times; in the case of communication failure time, permits the generation voltage control when the generator rotational speed is higher than a determination value at communication failure time, and prohibits the generation voltage control at other times.

A phase voltage detection circuit that detects a phase voltage signal generated by an armature coil of an AC power generator includes a peak hold circuit that determines an envelope of the phase voltage signal using an operational amplifier, a voltage offsetting circuit that shifts an output voltage from the peak hold circuit by a preset offset amount, and a comparator that compares the phase voltage signal with an output voltage from the voltage offsetting circuit, and outputs a phase voltage detection signal.

A master generator is configured to use a duty upper limit value and a duty lower limit value to perform duty restriction processing on a PWM signal in continuous Y cycles out of generated X cycles, and transmit the PWM signal after the restriction processing to a slave generator. The slave generator is configured to receive the PWM signal after the restriction processing transmitted from the master generator as a received PWM signal, and determine that a reception abnormality exists when the received PWM signal is received as a signal representing a duty less than the duty lower limit value or a duty more than the duty upper limit value in continuous (X&#x2212;Y+1) cycles.

A one-time memory control apparatus is obtained that prevents erroneous opening of a fuse from causing logic conversion and enhances the reliability. The one-time memory control apparatus includes an opening current creation fuse C opening switch and an opening current creation fuse D opening switch that each allow a fuse opening current from a fuse opening current creation circuit to flow in response to an opening enable signal, and a fuse opening permission signal creation circuit that receives respective logic signals corresponding to the states of fuse opening currents that flow through an opening current creation fuse C and an opening current creation fuse D, and that creates a fuse opening permission signal.

A vehicular charging system includes: a generator which has a field coil and is mounted on a vehicle; a storage battery which stores power; a storage state detection sensor which detects a charge state; and a power generation driving torque control device which calculates an actual value and a target value of power generation driving torque of the generator, and controls the generator based on the calculated target value. The power generation driving torque control device controls the generator based on a first target value of the power generation driving torque when a running state of the vehicle moves into a deceleration mode, and decreases the power generation driving torque to control the generator based on a second target value of the power generation driving torque when a charge state of the storage battery reaches a reference value, the second target value being smaller than the first target value.

Vehicular charging system

When electric generators operate in parallel, field current control operations thereof are synchronized thereby to equalize load balance therebetween. A first power generation control device connected to a main electric generator and a second power generation control device connected to a subordinate electric generator are each provided with an external sensing terminal that detects an external voltage of each electric generator to which itself belongs, an output sensing terminal that detects a power generation voltage generated by each electric generator itself, and the external output terminal that outputs a signal synchronized with a field current control signal for each field coil of each electric generator. When the plurality of electric generators are caused to drive at the same time, the external output terminal of the first power generation control device and the external sensing terminal of the second power generation control device are connected to each other.
