Tape feeding apparatus

A paper container for fluid substances. It comprises: a tapered trunk portion formed by rolling a sheet comprising a layer having a barrier ability applied onto a surface of cardboard, in a state in which the layer is disposed inside, and by joining longitudinal-directional ends of the sheet with each other; and a bottom member formed from a disk-shaped sheet comprising a layer having barrier ability applied onto a surface of cardboard, a lower end portion of the trunk portion and a peripheral portion of the bottom portion member being engaged and jointed with each other in such a manner that the respective layers face each other. A first end portion for forming a joint portion of the trunk portion has an extending film which surrounds an end surface of the cardboard and reaches an external surface of the cardboard. A second end portion of the joint portion has a stepped portion which bends outside from an end-surface position of the first end portion and which extends along an external surface of the first end portion. An inner film of the second end portion are directly or indirectly joined with the extending film of the first end portion.

Paper container for fluid substances, and inside lid therefor

A transparent laminate is disclosed, which laminate comprises a transparent plastic resin film or sheet substrate (A), a thin layer (B) of at least one metal such as aluminium, tin, iron, zinc, or magnesium formed on the film or sheet substrate (A) by vacuum deposition or sputtering, and a carboxyl group-containing polyolefin layer (C) formed on the metal layer (B) by lamination. In one embodiment, the film or sheet substrate may have a silicon oxide or titanium oxide layer (D) formed thereon by vacuum deposition or sputtering of the oxide.

Transparent laminates

A process for the production of a laminate which comprises laminating a boehmite- or pseudoboehmite-treated aluminum foil with an oxidation-treated polyolefin film with the treated surface of the foil facing to the treated surface of the film under heat and pressure without the use of binders for lamination. In one embodiment, the laminate so produced may be laminated with the same laminate with the treated surface of the foil of the former facing to the treated surface of the film of the latter, under heat and pressure, or it may be laminated on the aluminum foil side with a resin film, such as a polyester or polyamide film, with the use of a binder between the aluminum foil and the resin film.

Process for producing metal-boehemite laminates

A thermogenic sheet combined poultice comprising a thermogenic composition layer capable of generating heat in the presence of air or oxygen and a heat-stable wet pack composition layer; and a process for the production of the thermogenic sheet combined poultice.

Thermogenic sheet-combined poultices

A thermally diffusible composite comprising a thermally diffusible medicine such as allethrin, a thermogenic composition including an alkali metal sulphide or the like, carbonaceous material or the like and, if desired, a filler such as cellulose. In one embodiment, this invention relates to such a thermally diffusible composite the thermogenic composition or the whole of which is enclosed in an oxygen-impermeable container.

Thermally diffusible composites

A thermogenic composition comprising (1) at least one compound such as an alkali metal sulphide, polysulphide, hydrosulphide, hydrate thereof or mixture thereof, (2) at least one catalytically functional compound such as carbonaceous material or iron carbide and, if desired, (3) at least one filler such as natural or synthetic staple fibers or aluminum oxide.
