A coloring composition for a color filter, which comprises (i) an organic pigment, (ii) a binder, and (iii) a pigment derivative which is an organic pigment to which a sulfonate group and a sulfonamide group are bonded or a salt thereof, is provided, and using the coloring composition, a color filter which manifests excellent coat property, has not special color unevenness and has excellent contrast can be produced.

Coloring composition

A composition used for an ingredient of printing ink, which comprises an organic pigment and a pigment derivative represented by the formula (I) in the acid form: ##STR1## wherein D represents a residue of an organic pigment other than azo, R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an unsaturated aliphatic, saturated aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 represents an unsaturated aliphatic, saturated aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, m represents a number of from 0 to 3 and n represents a number of from 1 to 4, provided that m+n is from 1 to 5.

Composition for printing inks

A pigment composition which comprises an organic pigment and a dioxazine pigment derivative represented by the following formula (I); ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each independently represents a substituted or unsubstituted and saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group or aromatic hydrocarbon group, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 form a heterocyclic ring; L is an integer of 1-6; m is 0.5-3; and n is 0.5-3.5 provided that total of m and n is 1-5 or a salt thereof; and the pigment composition can be used with excellent pigment characteristics for various uses, and particularly, when they are used for paints or printing inks in the form of non-aqueous dispersion system, the dispersion system has lower dispersion viscosity and exhibits good flowability and there occurs no color segregation in the dispersion system and it has high coloring power and gives good prints or coats having good gloss and high transparency.

Pigment compositions

4,4'-Diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl compounds which are obtained in a known manner and which are easy to agglomerate or aggregate owing mainly to their too fine particle size are conditioned by heating an aqueous suspension consisting essentially of the 4,4'-diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl compound and water in the presence or absence of a mineral acid or an alkali. The thus obtained 4,4'-diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl pigments are used in paints, printing inks, coloring of plastics and the like. The aqueous suspension is preferably prepared by desulfonating a 4,4'-diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl-3,3'-disulfonic acid compound in a mineral acid such as sulfuric acid and then mixing the desulfonation reaction mixture with water or by once isolating the resulting 4,4'-diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl compound and mixing the isolated compound with water.

Process for producing 4,4'-Diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl pigments

Crude 4,4'-diamino-l,l'-dianthraquinonyl-3,3'-disulfonic acids or salts thereof are purified by subjecting an aqueous solution containing the crude products to salting-out using inorganic salts, the aqueous solution being adjusted within a range of from acid to neutral region, whereby a product usable as such for the production of 4,4'-diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl red pigments having excellent pigmentary properties is obtained in high yields with industrial advantages.

Process for purification of crude

A desulfonation reaction mixture of 4,4'-diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl-3,3'-disulfonic acid obtainable in a conventional manner is mixed in the form of an aqueous acid suspension with a surface active agent, followed by filtration, whereby filterability and flowability of the produced 4,4'-diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl pigment are efficiently improved.

Process for producing 4,4'-diamino-1,1,'-dianthraquinonyl pigments

A video recording and playback device with a built-in video camera includes an outer case having the same profile as that of a tape cassette that can be inserted into an exiting stationary video tape recorder. The outer case houses a pair of rotatable reels, a magnetic tape wound around the reels, a magnetic head drum for recording signals on the magnetic tape, magnetic tape guide posts for guiding the magnetic tape to run on and around the magnetic head drum a magnetic tape transport unit for transporting the magnetic tape from one of the reels to the other reel, an imaging unit for producing a video signal representative of an image of an object, a signal recording circuit for processing the video signal from the imaging unit and enabling the magnetic head drum to record the video signal on the magnetic tape, and a power receiving terminal assembly for receiving electric power to energize the motor of the magnetic head drum, the magnetic tape transport unit, the imaging unit, and the signal recording circuit. A recording medium such as a magnetic sheet disk or an optical disk may be employed instead of the magnetic tape.

A device for producing information recording disks comprises a stamper mount for placing a stamper thereon, a stamper-fixing shaft for fixing the stamper, and a pressing plate for pressing a backing plate toward the stamper after a liquid resin is injected in the space between the backing plate and the stamper. Injection is effected via a passage made at the center of the stamper mount, and the injected resin is stretched outwardly radially by pressing the backing plate. An ultraviolet ray is irradiated to the stretched resin through the backing plate to harden the resin. An injection valve movably received in the stamper-fixing shaft may be used so that uninjected resin is prevented from being hardened. The injection valve may have a center projection as well as a flange portion at its top so that machining for making a center hole of the disk is unnecessary. The periphery of the flange portion may be wetted by the resin before the backing plate is placed on the flange portion. The stretching speed of the resin is controlled so that air bubbles are prevented from being taken into the resin. The stamper may be attracted by magnetic forces to the stamper mount. A stamper having a fixing ring at its center may be used so that eccentricity is avoided.

Device for producing an information recording disk

Provided is an information recording medium manufacturing device of the type in which a radiation curable layer-forming liquid resin is injected into a gap between a planar stamper carrying an information recording signal pattern to be transcribed and a planar flexible carrier member having at least one signal pattern carrying surface through means, for injecting the liquid resin, then the liquid resin is uniformly developed all over the surface of the carrier member by pressing a holding plate against the carrier member, and is set by irradiating radiant rays so as to form a transfer layer, thereby to obtain an information recording medium by separating from the stamper the carrier member united with the transfer layer. According to the present invention, the information recording medium manufacturing device further comprises means for shifting the stamper from a carrier member mounting section, sequentially through a radiation curable liquid resin injecting and pressing section and a radiant ray irradiating section, to a carrier member separating section, and then returning the same to the carrier member separating section.
