A physical quantity detector includes a housing, a circuit board, a cover, a resin member, a conductor, and a conductive member. The circuit board includes a board surface. The cover faces the board surface and defines, together with the hosing, a passage through which the target fluid flows. The conductor includes a passage side portion and a connecting portion. The conductive member electrically connects the connecting portion to the circuit board. The conductive member includes a first end in the thickness direction facing a contact target that is either one of the connecting portion or the board surface. The first end includes a contact portion in contact with the contact target and a contactless portion away from the contact target in the thickness direction.

Physical quantity detector

A physical quantity measurement device for measuring a physical quantity of a fluid includes a housing that includes a bypass flow channel through which a fluid flows and a physical quantity detection unit that detects a physical quantity of the fluid in the bypass flow channel. The housing includes a housing main body made of a dielectric and a covering film that covers at least a part of a surface of the housing main body, and the surface of the housing is positive charged due to positive charges being arranged in the housing main body along the surface of the housing main body or the positive charges being arranged in the covering film along a surface of the covering film.

Physical quantity measurement device and method of manufacturing physical quantity measurement device

The present disclosure provides an intake air flow rate measuring device. The intake air flow rate measuring device includes a flange, a casing, a flow rate sensor, a humidity sensing element, an element terminal, and a humidity terminal. The humidity terminal is spaced away from the element terminal. A portion of the casing between the element terminal and the humidity terminal is defined as a suppressing portion, and a cross-section of the suppressing portion is defined as a suppressing portion cross-section. An end portion of the casing close to the flange is defined as a base portion, and a cross-section of the base portion is defined as a base portion cross-section. The suppressing portion cross-section is set to be smaller than the base portion cross-section.

Intake air flow rate measuring device

An air flow rate measurement device disposed in an intake passage by passing through an insertion hole of an intake pipe of an engine to communicate inside and outside includes: a case having a bypass channel, a part of air flowing through the intake passage flows into the bypass channel; a flow rate sensor arranged inside of the case, and having a flow rate detector which detects a flow rate of air flowing through the bypass channel; and a humidity sensor arranged outside of the case, and having a humidity detector which detects a humidity of air flowing through the intake passage. A surface of the humidity detector is arranged to oppose a wall of the case through a clearance.

Air flow rate measurement device

A measurement device includes a bypass housing placed at a position in the intake duct that introduces an intake air to an internal combustion engine and defining a passage through which a part of the intake air flowing through an interior of the intake duct passes, a flowing amount sensor measuring a flowing amount of the intake air passing through the interior of the bypass housing, a humidity detection element measuring a humidity of the intake air passing through a position in the vicinity of the bypass housing, and a heat discharge portion being directly in contact with the intake air and being thermally bonded to the humidity detection element.

Measurement device

The present disclosure provides an air flow rate measuring device disposed in an intake air passage. The air flow rate measuring device measures a flow rate of the intake air flowing through the intake air passage. The air flow rate measuring device includes a casing, a flow rate sensor, and a sensor module. The casing defines a bypass passage to take in a portion of the intake air. The flow rate sensor is disposed in the bypass passage. The flow rate sensor generates an output signal according to a flow rate of the intake air. The sensor module protrudes from an outer wall of the casing. The sensor module includes a multi-sensor unit that has a relative humidity sensor and a temperature sensor. The relative humidity sensor is exposed to an inside of the intake air passage to detect a relative humidity of the intake air flowing through the intake air passage. The temperature sensor detects a temperature of the intake air flowing through the intake air passage.

Air flow rate measuring device with integrated sensor module

The present disclosure provides a flow rate measuring device including a flow rate detecting body, a humidity detecting body, and a base. The flow rate detecting body protrudes inside of an intake passage. The humidity detecting body protrudes inside of the intake passage at a position away from the flow rate detecting body. The base is connected to the flow rate detecting body and the humidity detecting body. The humidity detecting body holds a sensor chip that includes a humidity detecting element sensitive to the humidity of the intake air. A length, along a flow direction of the intake air, of an exposed portion of the humidity detecting body is defined as a referential length. The humidity detecting element exists within a range from an upstream end of the exposed portion of the humidity detecting body to a position of half the referential length.

Flow rate measuring device

An air flow measuring device includes a housing, a sensing part, a temperature sensor, a supporting member, and a protective projection. The housing defines a bypass flow passage which guides a part of air flowing in a duct. The sensing part is disposed in the bypass flow passage to measure a flow rate of air in the bypass flow passage. The sensor detects temperature of air flowing in the duct outside the housing. The supporting member supports the sensor at a predetermined measurement position. The protective projection is a projection, which projects outward from a side surface of the housing and is formed by mold removal in one direction. An end of the protective projection is located outward of the sensor. The protective projection makes contact with an object approaching the sensor from outside the housing to limit contact of the object with the sensor.

Air flow sensor including a resin-molded protection member for a temperature sensor

An air flow measuring device includes an air flow meter (AFM), a straightening grid, and a mesh member. The AFM includes an air inlet and is configured to measure a flow rate of air flowing into the air inlet. The straightening grid includes a straightening plate having only one crossing region and is disposed on an upstream side of the AFM in a flow direction of air to straighten a flow of air toward the AFM through the straightening plate. The mesh member is formed in a netted manner and is disposed between the straightening plate and the AFM.

Air flow measuring device

In a cooling mechanism for an engine electronic control module, a base plate of the engine electronic control module is attached to an intake pipe, and includes air rectifier fins. The air rectifier fins have an air rectification function for concentrating suction-air streams at a position while rectifying the suction-air streams, and a cooling function for cooling the engine electronic control module. Suction air flows into an intake duct, in which an air flow meter is provided, through the air rectifier fins. Therefore, eddies of air can be restricted from being generated at an upstream side of the air flow meter, thereby obtaining stable air-flow signals from the air flow meter.
