A drive device includes a driver, a determination storage, a comparator, and at least one of a control storage and a monitor storage. The control storage stores a control pattern that includes a signal instructing a conduction state of each of loads. The driver control semiconductor switches respectively corresponding to the loads according to the control pattern. The determination storage stores a determination pattern. The monitor storage stores a monitor pattern that is a result of monitoring the conduction state of each of the loads. The comparator compares the determination pattern with a comparison pattern that is at least one of the control pattern and the monitor pattern, and determine that an abnormality of the comparison pattern has occurred in response to that the determination pattern and the comparison pattern satisfy a predetermined correspondence relationship.

Drive circuit for controlling conduction states of multiple loads

A drive device includes: a control storage unit of a current value of a control signal indicating a drive state of each of loads; a drive unit of the switches according to the current value; an acquisition unit of a current drive state of each load; a determination storage unit of a transition determination value; and a determination unit that compares a correlated drive state of each load correlated with the current value with the transition determination value, and determines that the current value is abnormal when the correlated drive state and the transition determination value satisfy a predetermined corresponding relationship.

Drive device

A load drive system, capable of providing certainty about instructions transmitted from a load control device to a load drive device as well as suppressing an increase of processing load, includes an ECU, a drive device, a communication bus to which the ECU and the drive device are connected, and a third signal line different from the communication bus connecting the ECU and the drive device. The ECU generates a frame including a drive instruction message, and transmits the message to the drive device via the communication bus. The drive device receives the frame via the communication bus, and extracts the drive instruction message from data of data field in the received frame. The drive device converts the drive instruction message into a load drive signal, and notifies the converted load drive signal to the ECU via the third signal line.

Load drive system

A vehicle control apparatus is disposed inside a housing for accommodating a transmission. The vehicle control apparatus includes a metal base, a resin case, a printed circuit board on which an electronic component mounts, an oil-tight seal member, and a breathable filter. The metal base is made of metal. The resin case is attached to the metal base to form an interior space. The resin case includes a part having a connector penetrating inside and outside of the housing. The printed circuit board is disposed in the interior space. The oil-tight seal member is placed between the metal base and the resin case to surround the printed circuit board. The connector has a ventilation hole. The breathable filter is disposed at a location where the ventilation hole faces outside.

Vehicle control apparatus

A vehicle control apparatus is disposed inside a housing for accommodating a transmission. The vehicle control apparatus includes a metal base, a resin case, a printed circuit board on which an electronic component mounts, and an oil-tight seal member. The metal base is made of metal. The resin case is attached to the metal base to form an interior space. The printed circuit board is disposed in the interior space. The oil-tight seal member is disposed between the metal base and the resin case to surround the printed circuit board. The electronic component is included in a control circuit for the transmission. The metal base and the oil-tight seal member are at a hydrogen bonding state, and the rein case and the oil-tight seal member are at a covalent bonding state.
