An industrial vehicle includes a controller. The controller sets a first upper deceleration limit as a set upper deceleration limit, if a first condition is satisfied, to perform first deceleration limiting. The first condition is satisfied when at least one of a high lifting height of the industrial vehicle, a material weight equal to or greater than a threshold, and an empty driver seat is detected. The controller sets a second upper deceleration limit as the set upper deceleration limit, if a second condition is satisfied, to perform second deceleration limiting. The second condition is satisfied when a distance between the industrial vehicle and an obstacle is less than a threshold. The controller performs priority control if the first condition and the second condition are satisfied so that the first upper deceleration limit is set as the set upper deceleration limit in preference to the second upper deceleration limit.

Priority control based on at least one of lifting height, weight, and empty driver seat

An industrial vehicle includes a travel direction detector configured to detect a travel direction of the industrial vehicle, a vehicle speed sensor configured to detect a vehicle speed of the industrial vehicle, a travel direction determiner, an object detector, and a controller. The controller is set in a particular state when the vehicle speed of the industrial vehicle is equal to or higher than a first vehicle speed threshold value. In the particular state, even when a travel direction command is changed by the travel direction determiner, the controller recognizes that a traveling state of the industrial vehicle before the travel direction command is changed continues and the object detector operates based on the traveling state of the industrial vehicle before the travel direction command is changed.

An obstacle notification device includes an obstacle detection unit configured to detect a positional relationship between an industrial vehicle and an obstacle, a display unit, and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry displays an image for notifying an operator of the presence of the obstacle on the display unit, and executes at least one of restriction of traveling of the industrial vehicle and warning when the obstacle is a causal obstacle meeting a specific condition. The processing circuitry displays a first image on the display unit when notifying the operator of the presence of an obstacle different from the causal obstacle, and displays a second image that is different from the first image on the display unit when notifying the operator of the presence of the causal obstacle.

An engine-type industrial vehicle includes: an engine; a power transmission configured to transmit a driving force of the engine to a driving wheel; a controller configured to adjust the driving force; a travel direction determiner configured to determine a travel direction of the engine-type industrial vehicle; and an object detector configured to detect a position of an object in the travel direction of the engine-type industrial vehicle. The power transmission is switchable between a driving force transmission state and a driving force non-transmission state. The controller causes a state of the engine-type industrial vehicle to be in a travel start prohibition state, when the object detector detects the object and a detection direction of the object matches the travel direction, in a case where a vehicle speed of the engine-type industrial vehicle is equal to or less than a stop determination threshold.
